EL Castillo Mexican Restaurant and Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Woodbury

I’m angry right now, and it’s literally because i lived here 3 years not knowing the best Mexican restaurant in town is around the corner! Was super hungry for Mexican food (legit my favorite) did not want to cook or drive to Another place I knew of further away. Took a shot on this place - free delivery by the way- and Oh My God… DELICIOUS and I’m picky about my Mexican food. This place is delicious- steak burrito chicken burrito flautas and chicken nachos and a cheese quesadilla for the baby… oh and the Guacamole!!! Finally someone makes fresh guacamole the way it should taste! … every last drop was eaten. This is my new spot and the best part is they deliver, we just became family and they have no idea yet lol

Ordered pizza from here for the first time since we lack good pizza in the area and my son wanted pizza I wanted my usual authentic Mexican fix- EVEN THE PIZZA HERE IS BETTER THAN SOME ITALIAN SHOPS AROUND HERE!!! Pero jesu!!! Ustedes si saben a cocinar! Uff and they deliver unlike the mediocre pizza in the area… lord - gets better and better....

This unassuming Mexican restaurant is in a small plaza off the exit. Next to it is the huge Woodbury outlets with it's chain stores and restraints charging people 10$ to park.

We were super hungry and didn't want fast food and refused to pay 10$ for parking at Woodbury outlets.

Google directed me to this place and I was skeptical at first due the appearance. However, we dined in and ordered a Steak Burrito and Chicken Quesadilla. The portions are huge! The guacamole is amazing! The beans aren't canned, they are so good! The steak burrito had cheese, zucchini, red peppers and two types of onions. The flavors from the veggies cooked with the meat were so delicious.

I haven't had a burrito with so many vegetables in it before and it was the perfect size and ratio!

Hands down, the best Mexican food I've had in weeks. I don't know about the pizza, it didn't look appetizing to me. However, the food is great! Don't let the resturaunts appearance fool you or impact your decision.

Go in and get the Mexican food, it's affordable, fast...

Now this is authentic! This is probably one of the best Mexican places I have ever been to. All the meals were reasonable priced and great portions, we couldn't even finish it all. Although if you dine in, chips aren't included with a meal like a typical place, you NEED to get their chips. They aren't salty or greasy, they are absolutely perfect and worth every penny. The fajitas had a tomato base which I have never had before and enjoyed, especially with the assortment of vegetables. The only thing that was just okay was the rice but with amazing service, quick food delivery and overall a great experience, it's worth...
