Maria's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Yorktown

I don’t normally write reviews but I could not, not write one for Maria’s Pizza. First off when you walk in Frank and his staff are warm and welcoming. They always make it a point to acknowledge each customer when they walk in. I always appreciate an establishment that does that. Now to the food. Their Pizza is absolutely delicious and if I want Pizza I am going to Maria’s - vodka sauce and Fresh Mozzarella is my go to… thin crust…🤤…but What’s great about Maria’s is they crush it with not only Pizza but their entrees Apps, etc. Let me just cut to the chase. Everything. I mean Everything is freakin delicious and is made with heart. As if they were cooking for themselves or their family. My go to is the drunken chicken parm wedge… made with vodka sauce instead of marinara… it’s so good when I have parties I’ll get a tray of it… along with the cold antipasti that Frank makes it look like art work - and all the ingredients are so fresh you can taste it…I can go on with a review of Maria’s- but just trust me. The staff is great, the food is even better.. You don’t last as long Maria’s has if-neither of the two were true…so if you are new to the area or just passing by.. You would be doing a disservice to you and whoever you are with if you don’t give it a try. I guarantee you will be...

I couldn’t possibly recommend a better pizzeria, and every out-of-towner I have brought here has raved about this place. I’ve been eating here since 1995, and the cheese slices are phenomenal:

1. They are twice the size of an NBA player’s hand.
2. The sauce is an unbelievable recipe.
3. The crunch-to-dough proportion is reminiscent of the Golden Ratio.
4. When you’re finished with the main portion, the crust is almost like a decadent dessert.

Garlic knots are worth it, specialty slices do not disappoint, and the service is quick and friendly. This is a QUALITY family-owned business and if they ever retire, I will create a gravestone to forever commit...

Sorry for late review: So, last March, received a $5 off birthday coupon via email for Maria's Pizza in Yorktown Heights. Called to order a pie to go. When I arrived to pick up the pie, was told coupon could not be accepted. When I asked why, was told that coupon did not originate from Maria's Pizza, even though the email did indicate it was from Maria's. I have been receiving these coupons for several previous years before my birthday. Walked out and will not be back. They lost a good customer; plenty of other places to get...
