Salesperson Anthony was very deceptive and his manager Avi defended him, instead of listening to my concerns.
My phone turned black. I went to the Verizon store ON CROMPOND ROAD IN YORKTOWN HEIGHTS NEW YORK mentioned the above and was told by Anthony that I was basically SOL . I needed to upgrade the phone. I did what he said. Went back the next day to ask a question. Ratu informed me that I didn't necessarily need a new phone. I had insurance on my phone and I could go to Asurion. Problem was fixed, went back to return the phone. Avi assured me my bill would not go up. The bill did go up. Went back to return the phone. I told him he should give me a free cover and glass because I was lied to . He is the manager and he needs to make up for that . He said that would come out of his bottom line and he has a 3-year-old to take care of. Why are Americans paying $50 for recycled plastic? *GO ON EBAY FOLKS YOU'LL GET SOMETHING FOR AT LEAST 40% CHEAPER . How unprofessional is that!!! Get a second job if you can't support your child. Ratu who I really liked at first promised to be in contact with me and after I tried contacting him several times I realized he wasn't going to help me. He had a deal I was told. There was no deal. Why lie? I don't understand that. No follow-up from Ratu. After being promised. AVI TOLD me when I trade in my phone I'm going to get $800. He then back walked it and said I owe $400 on the original phone. If Anthony didn't lie to me and let me know I had insurance, none of this would have happened. For 2 weeks I went back and forth between them and the other Verizon near Cortland. TWO weeks of unnecessary stress If I do need anything IN THE FUTURE I will make sure it's a LICENSED VERIZON dealer, not the snake oil salesmen STORES. Avi walked away got loud with me he threw his hands up in the air and said I'm done. That's a manager ?? That's a child having a temper tantrum. Unless you're upgrading a phone, DO NOT go there. If you have a problem all they know how to do is sell you. Where I work we don't behave like that. We have integrity. Bad enough sales people have a bad name. This is the reason why. But, you know what they say. What goes around comes around. When you take advantage of people it's going to come back to you. Im one individual. How many more did they do this to? Anyway, I did reach out to Verizon themselves and they took care of my issue. After two weeks of unnecessary stress do to GREED. IF I COULD LEAVE A...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am pleased to report that I spoke with Roy, the manager of Verizon Cellular about the upsetting experience I had at the store, described below. He was extremely responsive and listened to my concerns, acknowledging that my complaints were valid. I also was pleased that he committed to following up with his employees to make sure that they understand how they could have helped solve the problem. Roy extended himself by inviting me to meet with him to look at the phone and make sure that it is working properly. Kudos to Roy.....I greatly appreciate his handling of this situation. He has won back my confidence.
I was very pleased with using the Verizon Cellular Sales when I purchased from Juan on the day of your grand opening. When I had a problem with the phone, that was a different story. After a few months, the phone, an ASUS, started freezing one evening and just shut down. I was unable to turn back on. Since my life is on this phone, I called the store and went there immediately. Yes, it was around 8:30 but I was in great need of getting it to work. I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service and the bad attitude of the 2 sales people there. After basically accusing me of not knowing how to charge the phone even though I informed them it was fully charged, then moving into I "got one of the lemons" after the rep said he tried everything possible to reboot and test the battery and the phone was dead, to telling me I owed a lot of money on the phone, I had to get firm with them to get the phone number for customer service. They also didn't know the hours of when I could call the next morning. Since none of When I got home, my husband was there and I explained what happened. He took the phone and googled troubleshooting and after 10 minutes of trying a few things, the phone was back in action. I will not recommend using this store to anyone unless senior management can give me an explanation as to why this occurred. Customer service goes beyond sales....when I purchased, I was assured any problems could be addressed at the store. Clearly, in addition to the bad attitude, these people were not trained...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreif you're not already a Verizon customer or don't need something exceedingly simple, such as to pay your bill, DON'T come here. this is NOT a licensed Verizon store. I joined as a new customer on my dad's existing plan and I was lied to about almost everything, especially my bill. I purchased a phone that included a free smart watch as a promo, I was not told there would be two separate activation fees, in fact I was told I could just call 611 and they would even waive the valid activation fee of the phone. I was told my total next bill would be around $200 when it's closer to $300. I was also scammed for a $50 phone case and a $50 screen protector that broke within 24 hours. when I bought my phone, I wasn't even told I needed to buy a different charger, I was explicitly told my existing charger worked fine, and had to return to the store after I left and went home, wasting more of my time and money. I also had to wait two weeks for my "free" smartwatch when I was originally promised 48 hours. definitely avoid this store and also the...
