I'll be straight to the point. Spent $70 on dinners. 1st dish: Cavatelli Taormina was ok, but the crumbled sausage tells me that it was a typical pizza place move(taken from the sausage topping filled bucket thats typically bought in bulk to add to their pizzas), taste like it too. We asked if the zepolis would be made fresh, they said yes(of course another typical pizza place move with reheating the ones that sit on the counter all day), very tough, definitely not fresh and soft like zepolis are supposed to be. The same with the garlic knots, reheated and over cooked, slightly burnt, also very tough. 2nd dish: Penne and Chicken Arrabiata. Was also ok, but jalepenos? Was not expecting that. Lastly, the loaf of italian bread was just thrown naked into the bag, on top of the dinner containers. So basically, we threw out the italian bread, threw out the barely touched 2 orders of zepolis and garlic knots. 3rd dish: Chicken Parm(to be determined) Again, the 2 entrees were just ok, not the best. I dont usually taddle on restaurants, but im tired of getting screwed. I mean how hard and expensive is it to throw a fresh batch of zepolis and garlic knots in for someone who is buying a few dinners and spending some money? I can see if someone came in for a...

My daughter and her boyfriend went to Oscar's for takeout for their anniversary. My daughter has Celiac and cannot have gluten. They have gluten-free pasta there and that's one of the reasons we always return. My daughter ordered gluten-free pasta and unknowingly was given pasta with wheat. She ate the pasta and had a severe attack. She was very ill for two days and came quite close to going to the ER that night. The next day we called Oscars and the person who took her order admitted she gave her wheat pasta. They said they were going to now train their employees concerning food allergies. They said they were going to send us $100 gift card to encourage us to return. We never received the gift card. We called to speak to someone about that and ask how the training was going. Nobody ever returned our calls. We will never go to Oscar's again. I think they said all that because they were afraid that we would have a lawsuit. I now give Oscars ZERO stars. By the way the last time we went there, before this incident, service was horrible and the food was cold. The brought out all five meals five to ten minutes apart. So there's more reasons to give...
Read moreI waited an hour for takeout when they told me it would be 30 minutes. This is the second time a takeout order took twice as long as they said. I don’t mind waiting for quality food but the time estimate should be accurate. They also forgot an item in our order, for the second time. We checked our order before we left because of our previous experience. We tried to call ahead tonight (in anticipation of a long wait due to it being a Friday night) but were unable to get through - after numerous attempts at both phone numbers and receiving a message to try later we drove to the restaurant and placed our order in person. When we told the staff the phones weren’t working, another customer said the same thing. The staff was apologetic only after we reminded them that we’d been waiting for almost an hour. The food is great and the service in the restaurant section is better. If the communication was better in regards to their takeout, out experience would have been...
