A Hidden Gem in Yorktown Heights!
Trailside CafĂ© is hands-down one of my favorite local spots! From the moment you walk in, youâre greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the friendliest staff around. The vibe is laid-back but full of energy â the perfect place to grab a smoothie after a hike or sit down for a cozy coffee chat.
Their juices and smoothies are incredible â always fresh, never too sweet, and packed with flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and they have a ton of options whether youâre in the mood for something fruity, green, or protein-packed. My personal go-to is the âGreen Machineâ â refreshing and energizing without being overpowering.
They also have great coffee, light bites, and some surprisingly good breakfast and lunch options. Itâs clear the team behind Trailside CafĂ© puts a lot of care into everything they do, from the menu to the presentation to the service.
Whether youâre a local or just passing through, this place is 100% worth a visit. Support small businesses like this â theyâre the heart of...
Read moreI don't normally write very negative reviews, but my experience here was really disappointing. We went on a nice 50km bike ride, and I was really looking forward to a post ride ice cream cone. This place was conveniently located right across from the parking, and the photos from the reviewers made it look great.
So my husband ordered two small cones, which were $5 each, and have a generous tip. We received what were possibly the smallest scoops of ice cream I've had. It was maybe a generous quarter cup of ice cream on each cone. I think there's more ice cream in a Drumstick.
We didn't say anything because nobody wants to be that jerk that complains about the amount of ice cream they receive. And the ice cream itself was pretty good, but there wasn't much to enjoy. So, given the price charged, this feels like "ripoff" territory to me. You'd be better served walking over to Uncle Giuseppe's market and buying a box of ice cream bars...
Read moreThis is the first time I have been to Trailside and more than likely my last. I tried to order a banana split and the cashier looked confused. I decided to change my order and inquired about the espresso flavor to which she didnt have an answer. I decided to go with the mint chocolate chip. She charged me and realized there were no cups for the ice cream. She sent another girl to get them and finally after 5-7 minutes has to go get them herself. She then proceeded to ask if I wanted the espresso flavor. I told her i ordered mint chocolate chip. She said "oh right" I finally got my ice cream. The ice cream was probably the best I've ever tasted but I am completely turned off by the...
