X Sushi Express NY — Restaurant in Town of Yorktown

Unfortunately, this spot has really declined since it first opened. The sushi rolls I ordered were underwhelming—while the rice was decent, the fish quality just wasn’t there. The salmon was chewy, and the imitation crab in the California roll was barely there. The spicy crunchy tuna roll was overloaded with seasoning, likely to cover up the off taste of the fish. And, discolored ginger on the side.

My wife and I had two meals that were good - everything was fresh and delicious. However the third meal that we had last week was very poor. The sushi was warm. The fish was slimy and tasteless, and some of it was inedible. The avocado was warm and slimy. The dumplings have been consistently good, which is why I'm giving them 2 stars. Sushi has to be kept cold - I was there in 10 minutes from ordering, and as I stated it was already warm...

Absolutely best sushi in Yorktown! Also the staff/owner is amazingly friendly and attentive. (I am not being paid to say any of this)
