Hello,
I am writing to follow up on a recent experience at your Chipotle location at 239 E Swedesford Road, Wayne, PA 19087 on March 15, 2025, around 12:45 PM. I was the only customer placing an order at that time as I was buying lunch for my family.
While the person preparing the initial part of the order was pleasant, I encountered issues with the staff member handling the additions like salsa and sour cream. She seemed impatient and did not allow me to specify my choices one at a time, even though I was the only customer in line with a three-person order.
When I brought this behavior to the attention of the store manager, whom I recognized as a regular customer, I was surprised by his negative reaction. He and other staff members made me feel targeted. When I asked for salad dressing, the manager insisted I say "please" in a manner that felt demeaning. Even though another staff member was more understanding, the manager continued to shout at me, demanding I stop talking and leave. He repeatedly said "have a good day Sir!" until I felt compelled to leave, feeling humiliated in front of everyone present. This was a shocking and upsetting experience that has caused me significant distress.
I initially reported this incident to Chipotle Customer Care and received an acknowledgment, but no resolution has been provided. I was later contacted by a Customer Incident Specialist, Lauren Allen, who claimed to have tried calling me. However, I received no such calls. I have tried to reach Ms. Allen multiple times at the number she provided, leaving voicemails on each occasion, but I have not received a response.
For your reference, Ms. Allen's contact information is:
Lauren Allen | Customer Incident Specialist Chipotle Mexican Grill 500 Neil Ave Floor 3 Columbus, OH, 43215
I hope you will look into this matter further and take appropriate action regarding the behavior I experienced and the lack of follow-up.
Thank you for your time and attention to...
Read moreswedesford rd restaurant (gateway shopping center wayne pa) does NOT answer phone. actually if you stay on the phone long enough it prompts you for their mailbox password (not hard to figure out) you can listen to the stores voicemails and listen to 75 comllaining, screaming irrate customers. all sayi g the same thing, no manager on duty, store employees dont answer phone? orders are made incorrectly, no way to have someone acknowledge the errors and correct them. i opted to order through UberEats and pick up my order on the ride home from work(I drive 23 miles to work). im also 3 months pregnant so this was an important meal as i havent had lunch or a snack... when i got home i opened my bowl to discover that my order was completely wrong. missing my extra queso and guacamole (which both are additional costs on top on the cost of the bowl.) tried calling for 15 minutes then spent 30 minutes listening to other customers voicemails. corporate should seriously consider checking in on this store. the level of ineptitude and disappointment is...
Read moreOrdered three pointer chicken tacos and was told by a person down the line that a protein counts as two points so to get cheese, chicken, and taco shells, it was full price. I ordered double chicken and barely got a full scoop divided by the three tacos. I just paid $12.95 for three taco shells, one scoop of chicken and a sprinkle of cheese. The first person that started the order said he disagrees with the person who corrected him from across the prep area. She told me and him that those were four pointer tacos because you charge more for meat and cheese and those two piece (which with a shell makes 5 friends). Never have I ever been to chipotle where three ingredients, shell included, and a minimal amount of chicken was charged full price. I am not someone someone to try to stuff the bowl or get extras either. But to eat a meal and have my husband still hungry is a bit ridiculous. Since they were gonna charge me $13, I said OK I’ll have a side of this and a side of that and a side of that and I will add it to my own food...
