This store needs to put a higher emphasis on their hiring practices and actually make it a priority that the folks they hire can keep up with the pace, even if they are alone on their shift. Logistics has the ability to be fast and furious and is not the business for lazy workers who would rather cut corners. Hopefully that wasn't the case with my most recent experience at store #3443.
Example, I dropped off a pair of sneakers to be returned on 8/12/19 at 615pm, the young worker accepted them and printed a receipt for me and i was on my way. Throughout the week, I noticed that when i would track my package, it wasn't moving whatsoever, and it was only going a few states away. Finally, since my refund was dependent on the item being returned, when Thursday(8/15/19) rolled around and the tracking still revealed no movement, I called the store. A worker picked up and said it was his very first day at THAT location, but that my package, once identified by tracking number, was still sitting in the store but he could not explain, especially when it was dropped off on Monday.
My question for management, if there is any, is if this scenario would be acceptable to you if you were in my position?
If employees can't handle the flow, then they need to be removed or trained until a point in which they can. There is zero reason why a pair of sneakers dropped of on a Monday is still sitting in the store on a Thursday.
Management needs to read these reviews and realize that they clearly spell out the changes which need to be made to make the store a more pleasant stop with higher ratings for customer service. Start by putting yourself in the shoes of the general public.
UPDATE: 8/16/19...the package still shows no movement when tracked, even after the associate yesterday claims it was located and would be on its way asap. I am starting to suspect perhaps the package may not even be there at this point and that theft may be involved. I have NEVER had this type of experience with UPS in my life. I want to speak with a supervisor by phone to get to the...
Read moreThis location has more one star reviews than any other ones which is not surprising. Yesterday 12/07/20 was the second time in the last couple months I've gone here to ship and consequently had to say no thanx and go somewhere else after the employee tried to overcharge me (again). I've been doing what I do online for a long time and been shipping just as long. I know what shipping costs and when I said the price was incorrect all I got was the employee looking at the other one working there and smirking a bit about it. Couldn't care less at all. Not a big deal, I went to the one that's closest to me and got the real price which was almost exact to what I calculated ($37 less) so whatever. But I know I will never go back to that location, or their sister store on Lancaster Ave. in Wayne and if you're smart you won't either. They lost a long time customer, and I'll be surprised if they stay in business for long judging from the unprofessionalism I've seen there. I don't do business with anyone trying to rip me off. Remember people, the UPS store is just that. A retail store that works with the real UPS company to facilitate shipping and provide ease of it. I really don't think that tweedle dumb and tweedle dumber would last a day at the real...
Read moreI just had a wildly bad experience at this location. I brought in a Happy Return, and I have a lot of experience using this service at UPS Stores, Staples, and Ulta. Sometimes the scanning of each item works, but in my experience, it often does not and the clerk reviews the return to check off the items manually.
At this location, the clerk scanned the first item, but the second didn’t go through. He said it wasn’t on the return, and I said, “Oh, all of them should be on there.” From there, he started yelling at me, to the point that I had to ask him, “Why are you speaking to me this way?” more than once. He was yelling that if he took the items, I wouldn’t get the refund for them. I tried to explain that this was a common occurrence and that there was a way to review all of the items on the return, but he would not listen at all. I said that I would just take them somewhere else to return them, and he continued to harass me until I walked out the door. It was like he went from 0 to 100 over truly a very small issue, and I will never go back to this location because of it.
By the way, I went to another location down the street, and no issue at all doing the return for all...
