Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Tredyffrin Township

Went to pick up bagels for Christmas day. We got our first snowfall of the year, so I had to go in a little early to pick them up place the order online it was about 27 $30 ordered some smear and a few bagels when I arrived there, I ordered breakfast and some muffins to go And all the total was about 60 some dollars. Drove all the way home and realize that they didn't put the smear in the bag when I called to make them aware of it yesterday it was a complete fiasco and the manager of the store explained me he was the franchise manager and owner And he was rude and explain to me that it was my fault that I didn't get my smear because I didn't look in the bag or I didn't grab the smear out of the refrigerator when I asked him to give me a refund on my credit card, he said he could not do that. When I asked him could you please send me a gift card for the balance of what I spent for the smear he said he cannot do that either . He said it was completely my fault. Because it was up to me to make sure that it was in the bag before I left. I told him I did not think it was my job to make sure that he fulfilled my order that I paid for completely and utterly ignorant and rude. I've never had such bad service in my life. I will never...

What a DISGUSTING mess! The place is run down and filthy. Sorely in need of a remodel/sprucing up and a lesson in sanitation. You could eat cleaner by the dumpster. There were no customers when we entered, but EVERY table was dirty, a mess all over, and everything looks like it should be cleaned, refinished, or replaced. Two open metal trash cans like you would have in your driveway are placed at the entrance. The workers look a mess. As I went in to restroom to wash my hands, an employee was walking out from the bathroom tucking in shirt and zipping his fly. Even if he did wash his hands, which it doubt he did, he was still grabbing the door handle. And of course, he went right back to prepping and handling food afterwards. I hate that I have to give this place one star because I really do love their bagels. HOWEVER, they are rarely available due to most of the good ones being sold out before 9am. I have no clue how they manage to run out of so many bagels THAT early every single day when they are supposed to be open until 2pm. I’ve been turned away at least 3 times out of the last 5 days I’ve tried to stop in to grab one (I was there before 10am each time). The store almost never answers the phone, so you can’t even call to check before wasting your gas on the drive over there. And if you try and order ahead on the app it won’t even tell you if what you ordered is out of stock smh. It usually ends up being more frustrating than what it’s worth. Save...
