Our Deli & Cafe — Restaurant in Tredyffrin Township

Just moved to the Malvern area and felt like giving Our Deli a try again, haven’t been here since I was a kid. Stopped in around 3:30pm and ordered mozzarella sticks and fries, I was informed they were cleaning their fryers and was asked to order something else no worries at all. The waitress Annamarie chose to add a little comment in about how they close at 5, and we’re coming in “late” which is honestly irrelevant considering it’s 3:30 and we’re one of two tables?

I chose a chicken and cheese quesadilla with no onions, peppers, or tomatoes just that simple. I had about 15 seconds to decide on that replacement order, considering our waitress didn’t hand me the menu back to re-order and walked away before I was done ordering. The waitress walks to the counter to place the order and says “Quesadilla with chicken or cheese, alright gotcha,” which just makes 0 sense? Food came out and my order was wrong, it was slathered in onions, peppers, and tomatoes and was just plain soggy. She comes back and asks how our food is and I mentioned my order is wrong and she has the audacity to say “Next time just be more clear with your order.” Next time you could just listen to what people order and not walk away before they’re done ordering and losing the attitude would be nice too!

My husband and I ordered two sandwiches and two soups to-go. The total was $35. When I opened the bag, the soups had spilled and soaked everything in our bag. That was unfortunate but it happens. Then I opened the sandwiches which were a turkey Ruben, and a pastrami sandwich. The Ruben was very small, dry and tasteless. Then the pastrami sandwich was just a hunk of meat on two pieces of bread. The sandwiches do not come with a pickle or chips and for the price the quality is just not there. I drove back to return my food and the gentleman at the register told me that once the food is out of the building, it's not their responsibility if the soup spills. And he said he was not "supposed to do returns and he hopes he wont get yelled at" in some attempt to make me feel bad for asking politely for a refund. I work in the food industry and knew that a refund was possible, so I did get my $35 back and drove down the street to Nudys and bought two sandwiches with utensils, French fries,a pickle, and the sandwiches were...

Not sure what happened to this establishment. Been going for years. Waittress was so bad I walked out without eating but paid for my coffee. First of all she hijacked me as I came in the back door and told me where to sit. She did not ask first. Secondly. When she was taking my order she interrupted me to talk to other customers coming in. I had to repeat myself. She asked if I wanted water, I said no and she proceeded to give me water. I ordered eggs, homefries and rye toast I got eggs, bacon and wheat toast. It was 10 minutes for her to check back with me and I told her I thought I got the wrong order and repeated my original order. She took my plate to the kitchen and told them to put homefries on the plate and brought it back to me without the replacement toast. She...
