I love the pizza at this place. And for the last 6 years I've used this place as my go-to. But last week I was shocked that the owner informed the manager that he wanted me to leave. And so my go-to place is now Spatola's... hands down.
I work down the street and on the day in question our power (and hence, internet) went out. It was lunchtime so I headed to Bravo to get lunch and do work. The place is rarely busy and they have a booth with a power outlet.
I was there for a while - granted. But I purchased over $20 worth of food! I refilled my rootbeer about 3 times. (which, if memory serves, costs the store about 10 CENTS a glass).
At 3:00 the manager told me that the owner had left and was going to be back soon and if I was still there he was going to "lose it." I tried to explain... and based on what the manager said, I think the owner thought I only ordered a soda and then parked myself down for 3 hours. I get that would be annoying... if it were true.
But here's the deal... Starbucks makes way more than Bravo. And is always busier. And a third of the people in there didn't even BUY something there... they are just using the internet. But the kindness comes back to them. Customer loyalty 101 people! (heck... I've actually taken OTHER store's food INTO starbucks... never was asked to leave.)
The owner offers free wifi and then complains when someone is using it!? And he also offers free refills.. and then get's made when someone uses THAT? And you didn't ask me to "please only have 2 or 3 refills" ... that would have made sense. You asked me to LEAVE AN EMPTY STORE. NO ONE WAS THERE!
That's stupidity.
That's bad business.
That's one star.
Let me know if the ownership changes, then...
Read moreI am newly employed in this area and been scouting around different places to eat. I've been hooked on Bravo for months now. Have ordered pizza, delicious sauce!! Stromboli(buffalo my fav) are great size and they use real cut up shredded chicken slit across top with just a little cheese sprinkled and perfectly crisp on outside! Garlic knots and sauce while you wait...fabulous!! I order a large salad with just lettuce and carrots and the stuff is so fresh it last me at home a whole 7 days...wow!! Pasta selection is most incredible I've ever seen. Our office is going to start using them for our parties...they cater too. I have been in there had deliveries and had the most pleasurable conversations with ALL the employees. I work in Paoli but drive from Wayne just to get their food because its so fresh and amazing. Definitely a hidden hot spot. Im a stickler for fountain cola that tastes like water and search high and low for places that have just the right amount of cola so you can taste...
Read moreWith a bevy of pizza places in this state you got to do something really special to stand out. It's a shame that these guys did that something special the wrong way.
Walking in the place it seemed standard pizza fare. However the product that crossed my lips was, well.... not so good, to put it in a nice way.
After my 15 minute wait the pizza was room temp and the cheese was like it was just shredded. The pepperoni never even had a chance to release its precious juice on my slice. Sad, so sad.
That's not all, with just 2 slices I find out that the total is 8 dollars. What the hell!!! 8 dollars!!!! Put your prices somewhere I can see them. My buddy paid 5 dollars for a burnt piece of hoagie roll with tomatoes on top that they called bruschetta.
The family running the place were very sweet, they were very nice. I feel bad for this review but it's my honest opinion. I will not be back to...
