Update at bottom Debating between giving this place a 2 or a 3 but decided with a 3 due to having very reasonable prices and having so many drink options that it makes you want to come back and try them. All of the sweets I've tried from here which were banana nut loaf, chocolate dream, tiramisu, macaroon, and I once ordered a caramel flan but the woman said she wasn't going to sell it to me because it was old and to come back on a Saturday when they were made fresh. I came back the next day and even though she didn't sell it to me it was still in the case but one had been sold. I think she didn't sell it to me because she saw me taking pictures and knew I was a reviewer but they had no problem selling a week old flan to someone else😬. All the food I'd tried was very obviously old except the banana nut loaf which I thought was really good, I would consider it fantastic if it had chocolate chips in it. The Sakura Rose Milk Tea with Tapioca Pearls I think tasted a bit like soap but my daughter loved it, the hot chocolate was better than Starbucks and swiss miss but only marginally, husband liked his iced latte, chai tea latte was not great but not bad so I don't think I'd order it again. I'm sure I'll be back to try more of their many drink options but I'd stay away from the food. Current update: Went back to try some other milk teas which I think were good. Somehow I still think the one my daughter picked still tastes like soap even though she got a different flavor. They had a different dessert to try this time which was a dreamy mango boba cheesecake. It was only the second time that I had something that tasted somewhat fresh. I didn't like how the cheesecake part tasted personally but I could see how others would like it. Might be willing to try other food items in the future but their hot items are definitely the milk teas. I'll increase their rating to a 3.5 now.

This is the best place to stop and visit nestled in the heart of Chester county , a very nice suburb of Philadelphia so this is a must see for all fellow travelers, it’s a very quiet ,calm and good neighborhood, very clean, I shot pictures so you could see the area, and the menu. A very nice aspect of this particular place is , if , for instance , like most today, your working remotely and need a space to work out of, they have a private dining room space with tables ,that may be pre-booked to have a business meeting or a private conference . your laptops can be set up on all the tables and the meeting can be catered with with food and beverages, by the owners. All travelers should know that this is a midway or half-way point from Philadelphia to Lancaster County, and it is beautiful out here, antiques , china , silver, and the Amish in the bordering Lancaster County really nice farms, covered bridges on rural country roads in this same shopping center you have Primos Hoagies for an excellent Italian sub or Hoagie, you have Plato’s Closet to find a new outfit, it’s one of the best thrift shops with new or very gently used clothing, and if you are in the mood for an alcoholic beverage TJ’s is also in this shopping center excellent bar , one of the best around., and if Nudy’s cafe a breakfast place is also here enjoy JC

I love supporting local coffee shops especially ones that open at a decent time (6:30 am). I’ve heard good things about this place and as I try to steer away from Starbucks I thought I would try it. The Campfire drink iced was amazing. Perfectly shaken and sweet. But the breakfast sandwich I ordered was inedible. The egg….. idk I have a picture it looks more gray and green in person the picture doesn’t do it justice. I’ve never seen an egg like this. Get a new supplier. My bill with the drink and egg and cheese on an english muffin was $14 something….. The owner wasn’t super friendly either which is weird. You should be happy people are spending their hard earned income on your place. Oh well…. I guess it’s back to Starbucks.

It's a shame that the experience was so bad. I ordered a chai latte, toasted bagel with cream cheese and 2 pre-made pastries. I waited inside for 25 minutes. When I approached the owner about my order, she said that it was half finished. I don't know what that means. When I ordered they certainly weren't busy. While waiting, I heard a customer explain that the food he ordered tasted well, but was so hard that he couldn't even bite it. The owner spoke to him and offered to remake the item and give him a discount the next time he came, but the person just asked for a refund. The owner would not give a refund and stated that she makes these all the time. I also saw a boy sitting waiting a long while for an online order. His mom had to come in and speak to the owner. The owner claimed the order only came through when he asked why it wasn't ready. The mom ended up saying they had to come back to pick it up. Another mom and daughter waited a long time for 2 milk teas and 2 breakfast sandwiches. When they finally got them, they were missing a sandwich. The mom said she could only wait 5 more minutes. I told the owner that I had to leave for an appointment and come back. When I returned at almost an hour after I initially ordered, my order was finally ready. All of that, for my chai latte to be so-so and my husbands bagel (which they asked if I wanted toasted and I said yes) was not even toasted! I don't know if they were grossly understaffed that day or what, since this was my first visit, but I will not...

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the treatment my group and I experienced during a recent visit to this cafe.

On Jan 25th, we were seated in one of the rooms, enjoying a game together, when the owner abruptly entered the space. Without warning, he slammed his laptop on a nearby table and informed us, in an unnecessarily hostile tone, that the room was reserved. The attitude displayed during this interaction was deeply unprofessional and unsettling. Despite the fact that we were simply playing games and not causing any disturbance—particularly as there were no other customers in the store at the time—we were met with unwarranted aggression.

Additionally, earlier that same day, one of our group members purchased a drink but found it unsatisfactory. We approached the staff politely to request a replacement. However, instead of addressing the matter with courtesy, we were met with more hostility. The response we received implied that it was entirely the fault of the customer for not liking the drink, with the staff asserting that they had fulfilled their responsibilities. The tone and conduct during this interaction were dismissive and unprofessional.

As a paying customer, I believe it is reasonable to expect respectful communication and a welcoming environment. Unfortunately, the lack of courtesy and the confrontational behavior displayed by both the owner and staff during our visit fell far below these expectations and they lost a few customers due to their inability to...
