We had our wedding in August of this year. It was a simple backyard wedding. We had a pizza truck for the main food, but knew we needed to fill in the gaps with some fun apps. We were so excited when Cafe Pom opened up in Paoli, and decided to support local and use them as our secondary food option for the wedding. We hadn't tried any of their food before the event, but the price point was just right so we decided to chance it. Well, pretty much all of our guests said the food was incredible and asked us the whole night about our vendors. They were in shock to be at a wedding where the food was actually good! And we paid less than what a lot of others do to get it. Plus, we had a number of guests with allergies, and their staff was kind enough to talk me through the menu and write lists of allergens for each item we ordered, so that our event servers could be prepared to walk our guests with allergies through the menu choices. I go purchased apricot candies, and dried fruit leathers which were all was tasty as they looked. the cafe has a warmth and elegant decor which is great to enjoy and relax with friends. My lunch was a pick your own style warm bowl with fine black lentils, greens, luleh kabobs-tender Armenian beef , tourshi -Armenian pickled veggies, chick peas and bsba ghanoush - eggplant with tahini spread. I intended to save done for my husband to try but I finished it. It was too good to save. I'll buy him his own. I brought home lahmajun - an Armenian style flatbread meat pizza and a cheese boreg - Armenian version of a phyllo layered cheese pie.
