McDonald's — Restaurant in Trenton

[note: this was a one star review two years ago] this place has really got the ball rolling in the past couple years!! I usually tend to avoid mcdonald’s in chattanooga metro, but this is one of the ones I now rely on to always set a high bar. though I always have to grossly exaggerate to get the fries crispy and golden brown, as they are advertised and served at any mcdonald’s globally, I have to warn them to “burn them”, or “make them blackened”, (I have no idea why this local custom exists, I have only lived here 18 years but all french fries around here are usually served blanched white and just warm, even when right out of a fryer, no gravy or anything, locals usually will not eat crispy golden brown four minute fries [they call that burnt, seriously], so BE SURE TO ASK if you enjoy normal american french fries!!). the crew are always so polite and courteous, ready to make sure specific instructions and seasonal foods like the pies and shakes are made to order just for you. the inside is always clean and welcoming to locals and travelers alike. if you’re not okay with fox news, maybe use the drive thru like me. but anyhow, one of the best places to hit up in Trenton, though I couldn’t for years, I recommend visiting. they’re here...

I just waited 20 minutes for French fries on the side! My daughter was asleep in the car and I couldn’t go in so I went back through the drive through! She acted like they didn’t know and was confused finally a couple minutes later she says ok it’s at the second window drive around they gave me my food!! My fries and food are cold! I called the manager and he was smart pants!! He was like we came out there and couldn’t find you! I said yeah 20 minutes later because I timed it!! No one showed up so I came through drive through because my daughter is asleep! He said well had you not came back around you would have received your food!! Umm 20 something minutes later? Don’t you think that’s a little ridiculous he said yes but it’s not like we didn’t try to find you!! I was like okay so what’s your excuse for cold fries? I talked to you in the drive through and you had 3min till I got to the window you could have freshened my food up know omg it would be 30min cold by now and he said well yeah if your willing to wait you can come back and I will get you fresh food!!! He literally keep being smart the whole time and it’s hard to keep nice when he kept insisting had I waited 22 minutes instead of 20 minutes my food wouldn’t had...

I visit, or shall I say, used to visit, this McDonald's regularly but will be talking business elsewhere because of how their service and quality has continued to decline to an inexcusable level. The speed of their service at this particular McDonald's has always been terribly slow, but I like their sausage McMuffins with egg, their caramel sundaes with nuts, and their parfaits so I am often willing to wait. Last week my partner and I went there for breakfast and it took nearly 30 minutes to get waited on and served. The two sausage burritos weren't even half filled. Later that same day we went through the drive thru for a couple of drinks - a Coke and a diet Dr Pepper. It took over 20 minutes to get to the window, then we had to wait over 5 minutes just for two drinks while the girl in the window chatted with another crew member. When she finally gave us our drinks they were only filled 1-1/2" from the top of the cups and both the wrong flavors. Both were regular Dr Peppers. I hope the management can get a grip on their crew and get their service and quality...
