UPDATE--- Went back recently July 22, 2022. Since it's the only Pho spot near me and I was craving shrimp summer rolls (which are VERY GOOD). The guy must've got the memo. His attitude is much improved and much more accommodating. Customer service improved 100%. Got the King Wings as I was craving some wings, too. Very tasty! Much better, much better! Great job Pho Kim.
At the risk of sounding catty, I wasn't impressed. There is new ownership now and the space is brighter, seating is organized for maximum use of the space, the fung shui was on point and for the first time in the location's history (that I'm aware of), there is an area of reception complete with cash register. The problem I have is the way the young man who interacted with me took my order. Whenever I asked him a question, he acted and responded to me in a way that suggested maybe he thought I was stupid or something. If I'm being honest, I don't have much experience with Vietnamese food. The experience could've been more pleasant had he asked if this was my first time at the establishment. I finally chose what I wanted and was told it would take about 20 minutes. To my surprise it took roughly maybe 10 or 12. He forgot my drink for which I had to wait a few more minutes. Not necessarily a problem, right? For a certainty, I'm not one of those people who believes "the customer is always right" because sometimes they AREN'T. I feel the man could've been more welcoming, patient and accommodating than he was especially since it was my first time in the store and I have so little experience with this menu. I wanted what is called in this particular eatery "summer rolls". It's called something a little different in other Pho eateries. He said something to the effect of "hope you come back again". I didn't respond in the affirmative or at all which was probably rude. I suggest in the future that he or anyone else who is tasked with welcoming customers in the eatery do so with warmth, patience and a welcoming attitude. I take very seriously where I spend my money and my money is too good to spend where I'm not respected or valued. The food was...
Read moreThe Guy with the crazy ugly hair and the ugly browse and ugly attitude stoled from me. Tells me the Owner doesn't want me there because I wanted a black coffee with no sugar or cream. He clearly doesn't understand the language and thinks they can treat people the way they do in their country. He proceeded to kicked me out with foul language just because I asked for a black coffee and he gave me a coffee with cream no reason to get mad. This country is based on common courtesy. Charges me almost $6 for a coffee then it was cold then he microwaves it🤢🤮. I ended up throwing it away. I never experienced such demented experience. In the picture you see what I was given for 6 dollars......
Answering back to your lies. All I did was speak upset with my mother because she brought me to a place that was so dirty and that we cannot drink imitation Carnation. because it's unhealthy and I'm lactose and I cannot have it. So no one was bullying my mother you don't understand or speak Spanish. She's So Mad She will never go there again because you become disrespectful to her and her family. All I said to my mother was "you see what happens when people and don't know how to run a business let's get out of here". And as I could tell you're angry and you're making lies about your behavior we could go back to your footage if you have any video and show the world exactly how you treated me I'm not afraid of what your videos will show. I don't hurt others to make myself feel better like you do. You have many people talking about your nasty behavior on Google I should have read your reviews...
Read moreIf I could rate lower than 1star I would. The male at the cashier and at the same time taking the order was so rude and needs to be trained at least halfway decent in customer service. This gentleman at all is no way gentle and is rough in treating the customers. The previous reviews could attest and so unfortunate to witness it. Another thing I would like to point out is that very unhygienic in food handling, I asked how many sticks are there in one order of chicken satay and he brought a frozen shish kabobs in wrapped in cling wrap and asked me to count because he don’t know then he snatched it from my hand and unwrapped it in front of us (5 of us in a group), cross contaminating the food. Department of Health should take a visit in this place. I asked how if the tofu is fried or with sauce, he was screaming “I don’t know! If you want to eat then order if not then don’t!”. Never heard of such a demeanor, so we didn’t argue we just stood up and left. Avoid this restaurant if you prefer a good service. How would you feel if you go to a restaurant and the person attending to you makes you feel like you are begging him? Surely it wasn’t pleasant, in fact it was a hostile...
