Well we went here because all of the other restaurant’s in Trinidad were closed that Saturday afternoon. Small place with a little shop where you can purchase noodles sauces and such. I ordered the spaghetti with some chili sausage and a side salad and I have no clue what my wife ordered but she got sausage and cheese covered in the house sauce. First off when we sat down the folks next to us were just leaving and I looked over and they left full plates of food unfinished. The salad we got was literally iceberg lettuce with four small tomato slices on it. That’s it. My meal was noodles covered in a sweet tomato sauce with two hamburger patties on the side that I guess was the sausage. I was stunned. It looked like someone cooked up some noodles and opened a can of sauce and dumped it in my plate and I paid like $14 for it. My wife was very unimpressed with hers too, she thought she would at least have some pasta with it but no, just the same sweet sauce some sausage and cheese. My kids could make a much better meal! We ended up throwing out more than half of our meal also. Now I know why the guys next to us left a full plate. I would not recommend. I gave them 2 stars because the staff was friendly. I would give the food zero stars if I could.

I would rate Nana & Nano's 10 stars if I could!! I was extremely happy with my gluten-free options. I had the gluten-free pasta with chicken and gluten-free bread. It was wonderful to have a dedicated gluten-free menu, the food truly is gluten-free and all the staff are knowledgeable of Celiac's needs. The food is delicious, the portions are perfect. My friends loved their (non gluten-free) meatball sandwich. My husband loved the ravioli and meatball and said the flavor of the meat and sauce are fantastic. Absolutely delighted to have found this awesome gem of a family restaurant in Trinidad, Co where gluten-free options are limited. The full deli counter looked phenomenal as well and we can't wait to try that next time. Definitely found my fave spot to eat when I'm in Trinidad. They also have a good selection of dry goods gluten-free pasta, cookies and other products for sale

I have never had pasta this good. Hands down in the top 5 restaurants in the Trinidad area, you MUST try it The food is absolutely astounding, the place itself only has a few tables so getting your food to go is a good idea. We waited less than 20 minutes for fresh and incredibly hot food. Not only is it an incredible restaurant it is also an extensive deli counter with meats and cheeses, the homemade cannolis are out of this world!! It's also a small Italian grocer, they have a massive variety of imported sauces and oils and you can buy their sauce and meatballs pre made to cook with at home We had the ravioli in sauce with meatballs and Frans special spaghetti with meatballs, I still have some in my fridge and still I cannot wait to go back!

A true gem - Nana & Nano’s is the best! I can see why they have been a successful restaurant for over 50 years!! I’ve wanted to visit this restaurant for so long and last weekend was my first chance to go. My husband, 16mo son, myself and my in-laws had a wonderful and delicious lunch. This little spot has best meatballs I’ve ever had AND their Alfredo and gnocchi are divine! But the cannoli’s… my god, the cannoli’s… are the BEST in the world (and I’ve had many, having gone to school for pastry/baking).

Not only was the food fantastic… but it is so rare, these days, to find such incredibly kind, engaging and hospitable people. Our son doesn’t do well with sitting for long periods of time (baby things, ya know?) and we’re always looking for ways to engage and entertain him… our waitress and the staff were so sweet and fun with him and the darling old lady came over to visit with us, play with our son and even brought him a little monster truck (his new favorite little toy) and a bag of snacks she put together from the back. I’m so amazed by the kindness and genuineness of the folks at this restaurant. It really made our day so special and made us feel welcomed. So many restaurants treat you like a burden when you have a child… not here. I can’t wait to visit again! Thank you Nana & Nano’s, for being...

This was our last stop in Trinidad and it was my personal favorite. The lady we talked to was so much fun and you could just feel her love for her restaurant, her family, and her community. She had so many wonderful stories and I would have loved to listen to her even more. She praised the local bakery and I will have to go in there sometime after the fantastic things she had to say about them.

The food her mom made in the back was fantastic, I had the the gnocchi and my boyfriend had the rigatoni. Even the butter for the bread was delicious and a great attention to detail that it wasn't just basic. The sausage was delicious. From what I could see, there didn't look to be a bad plate at any table.

The salad was simple, with just lettuce and tomato but it allowed the delightful dressing to be a star.

They had a wonderful table full of gifts and we were able to take a few things to remind of us of the fantastic time we had in Trinidad.

If you're thinking you want to head there, make this a must on your list and enjoy truly wonderful people and a great...
