I've always been a fan of chikfila and their high standards- BUT not today. I never write reviews but felt this one deserved to go public. I ordered through door dash... My driver got here with our food within 15 minutes of ordering- so very quick. He asked me to call and put complaint in that he was given a hard time when he asked them to check for the sauces and they wouldn't -so he asked for a manager to check. Then I get my order out, after spending 40 bucks.... The fries taste old like yesterday's fries warmed in a microwave- discusting- they went straight in trash...... Then the chicken strips were also dry. . felt like I was given old food because I had it door dashed instead of picking it up myself.
When I called- the managers response was- we are not responsible for the food once it leaves the building.... My other two meals were fine! She says you will have to call door dash and take it up with them! I thought are you kidding me right now? This was your problem for bagging old food. . I live 7 minutes from the chikfila. . how are you going to blame door dash???!!! BAD BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! AND to add just in case chikfila of Troy Ohio is reading. You have screwed my orders up numerous of times and when I asked for a manager- I've never not once accepted anything for free or a replacement, I've always said , I just wanted to give feedback so they could step up their game.... Read moreFactual scenario: 7am customer walks into restaurant. Not a car in the parking lot or inside. Walked in and for several mins two people walk by like your not there. Then from that point of already waiting, I'm still standing there. Watching the drive thru get served one customer at a time. We'll say at least 7 customers or more. I'm past the pick up time that I have at this point. I'm waiting on a single bowl. During my wait time of a single bowl, someone placed a curbside pickup and they get served. Someone serving them finally greeted me. Then told me that they are still working on it. By then I'm thinking I already apologized on your (behalf) for the wait. It's been 10 mins now and no bowl. This is what we deal with on a daily and it's unacceptable. Someone picking up a order isn't any different then the person standing there who just walked in. The drive thru isn't more important the customers walking in. There needs to be more equality . It's understandable if the store is busy. But completely empy... come on. Read moreCouple of things first - Chik Oil A used to be our favorite place to eat, but they have made a few changes that slips them down on the review. Hopefully they will make some improvements to become what they used to be. 1. I was recently told they limit the sauces per order to 4. Now we have to buy a $2.99 container of sauce if you want more than 4 and they do not give you the 4 if you do order it. Bad news. The sauce is the #1 reason to go to CFA. 2. When they first built and staffed this location, it was chaos for months, every order was wrong, and it has only gotten marginally better but I see the drive thru line volumes are significantly diminished and not nearly what they are at other locations so I know its not just me who sees some quality-service issues. Food is cold and obviously not very fresh, probably because they are slow. 3. The interior although new, looks not as clean as other locations.
