This place opened about two weeks ago. We decided to try this place this morning. We were greeted when we walked in. The decor is clean and cozy. Lori our wait staff was pleasant and attentive. We ordered the Corned beef hash and the Blueberry lemon poppyseed pancakes. The hash was tasty, lots of meat with onions, peppers, and potatoes and the best thing was it was crispy! The pancakes were fluffy, full of blueberries, served with warm maple syrup and room temperature butter ( I don't like when the butter is cold and hard to spread) with a nice but not overly sweet drizzle. Both dishes were plated nicely. The bathroom was clean ( I look at all aspects of a business) and fresh smelling. We really had a wonderful breakfast here. The staff, the food quality and temperature were excellent. The pricing is reasonable knowing how much food costs based on when I had to purchase food and supplies for a business. I would HIGHLY recommend trying out this place and supporting a local business. Please keep up the good service and food quality. When you do that, you will succeed. We will definitely go back and try something else...
Read moreOutstanding - wonderful addition to Troy. Best brunch restaurant in area. Sophisticated dining area, attentive, professional service. Quality and portions of food was superb. I had the Spanish Benedict - great sauce ((homemade), excellent tomato and sausage on nicely toasted english muffin (see photo). Cheese polenta was flavorful and had shaved, fresh parmesan on top - piping hot. Wife had the special french toast - attractive and delicious, very imaginative in its presentation. Owner brought me a cup of their espresso ‘Americano’ - freshly brewed to order and again piping hot - nerdy cordial ambiance. Our dining partner’s toast was thick, fresh and browned perfectly.
This will be a go to place for my friends and family. This cafe reminds me of ‘The Rooster’ restaurant in Naples, Florida… it’s that good.
Parking easy, outdoor tables if desired,...
Read moreDecided to try this place after noticing it had opened. Menu has lots of delicious sounding choices. I went with the breakfast tacos, my husband had the baja omelette. Prices were very reasonable (my tacos were only $10 and they were filling). My husband noted his vanilla cappuccino with oat milk was one of the best he’d had in a while.
Service was extremely attentive. Never had to ask for any refills, and always pleasant and genuinely interested that we were happy.
Only downside to me, if you are looking for gluten free options, those are limited. No g-free bread or pancakes. Still, there were enough choices available that I would...
