I had ordered chicken sautéed dinner and a garish salad, in addition to a chicken Shawarma wrap online when I arrived at the restaurant after I received a text message saying that my order was ready I was told that I did not have an order with them. I didn't have my telephone with me, so I walked out to the car, brought the phone back and showed them that I had received a text from them saying my order was ready. They quickly said they were going to prepare the new order and I waited for that to take place. When the replacement order came out, they told me that they had given my original order to someone else by accident. The order that I had received to replace the order that they had given to another patron was incorrect. I had ordered the chicken sauté dinner, but instead of receiving the chicken sauté with rice and vegetables. All I had received was chicken sauté in a small carton without the rice and vegetables that I had paid for as a dinner the small container of chicken and mushrooms was flavorless, messy in appearance and not what I'm accustomed to receiving from this restaurant . I'm very disappointed with my order. I'm very disappointed with the service and I just feel that this restaurant has lost its charm in the service. Its competency in the service, the flavor of the food and even the replacement order was not the dinner entree I had paid for... it was more like an appetizer. I've been a patron of this restaurant for years and I've always been happy. This was enough for me probably not to return.
UPDATE: This is an added to my original review. I was astonished by how nice, professional and caring the manager and owner were when they saw my post. They called me, asked me to explain what happened went over and above to correct the issue for me. They had prepared themselves, a new chicken sauté dish, fatoosh salad and gave me pastries as a gift. They were truly concerned about what had happened l, they wanted to make it right they were so accommodating, courteous, kind and professional. I've not removed the original review because I want people to see it and then see more importantly, what happened to correct the issue it was truly amazing. I am just so grateful for how they handled everything. In addition, the owner called me within half an hour of the reviewing posted on Google. First of all, i felt the guy taking my order on the phone and handing me the order at the store could have been nicer, but not a big deal... Got the $8.99 combo with a mango smoothie. The shawerma tasted good at first, loved the garlic paste taste, but as i got through two-thirds of the sandwich as i was driving and focusing on the road, i had not realized that it was soooooo greasy that the bottom of the wrap had filled with oil, and had been dripping on me while i am driving and eating without realizing..... my pants and the car seat had grease allll over, and i had to go back to the office in that mess in the afternoon and deal with the embarassment of the stains all over lol... in addition to that i did not feel well for a few hours right after from how heavy and greasy the sandwich was... also, was a little disappointed from the mango smoothie's small size, expected at least a medium size drink for it being almost $5... it tasted good though. I ordered food yesterday and went to pickup my food and he asked for my name and after I told him he again asked for my name. So I showed him the text message confirmation and even after showing him the confirmation he again asked for my name. So I told him to read it! I wonder if he knew English or not.. He was all furious when I said that and he handed my food in a huff. Today I only ordered the garlic paste and the this was all I ordered as this is what I wanted. When I went there he tried to humiliate me by saying that I shouldn’t order the food online for such a low $ value as he gets charged a hefty service fee and he will throw the garlic paste for free if I called and asked for it.
