My husband took me to Red Robin. There were many people standing waiting. My husband ask for a table and the hostess stated it would be about 25 minutes before we could be seated. We waited maybe 15 minutes. Which was great. We were seated by the kitchen. The bar area was closed and the whole right side of the restaurant was closed. When we were seated a waitress came and asked us what we would like to drink. My husband ordered while I was washing my hands. We received our appetizer within 15 minutes of ordering. That was great. But after we finished our appetizer we sat for about 30 minutes observing all the staff standing around the kitchen area. There were 5 tables of customers in the restaurant. 3 tables were by the kitchen. One table out of all 5 table that you had in your restaurant had their food. Unfortunately the other 4 were all sitting watching and waiting for their food. My husband had asked our waitress how long our meal would take and she never answered our question. All see could say was that they were overwhelmed. So after about 15 more minutes I went up by the kitchen to ask again how long it would be before we get our dinner. That is when 6 of your staff turned and said they were doing their best. While my friends your best SUCKS. There was a male worker that looked as if he were trying to run the window. When I asked again about our dinner he was looking to find it. We were already in your restaurant for an hour waiting and it wasn’t even started yet....: Here are some improvements I would suggest—If you are not going to be using the seating area by the bar, you should consider use it for your carry out customers. Also wait staff ARE ALL able to fill carry out orders. You had more staff working then customers in your restaurant. I know for a fact you have lost us as customers and probably at least 3 other tables full of customers will...

Our dining experience at Red Robin in Troy left much to be desired, especially in terms of food quality.
FOOD QUALITY👎: We ordered the Keep It Simple Chicken Sandwich, Caesar Wrap, Ragin’ Chicken Sandwich, O-Ring Shorty, and French Fries. Unfortunately, the food quality was below expectations. The French fries were particularly disappointing—far off the mark, lacking flavor, and not fresh. The O-Ring Shorty had a nice decorative presentation but consisted of only 5-6 small onion rings, which seemed overpriced at $8.99 per serving. The sandwiches were another letdown; they weren’t properly prepared, with ingredients coming separate, leaving the customer to mix and assemble the sandwiches themselves. This was a confusing and unsatisfactory experience. The wrap, however, was decent but didn’t make up for the overall poor food quality.
SERVICE & HOSPITALITY👍: Despite the issues with the food, our server, Debra, was friendly and attentive, ensuring we were taken care of during our meal.
AMBIENCE & SETTING👍: Red Robin provides a casual and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a comfortable place for a laid-back meal. However, the presentation and quality of the food didn’t quite match the setting.
VALUE for MONEY👎: With a total of $61.22 (including tax), the pricing felt steep, especially considering the subpar food quality and portion sizes. Charging $8.99 for a few onion rings or serving underwhelming fries does not reflect good value for money.
LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY👍: Located on Corporate Dr. in Troy, the restaurant is easily accessible, making it a convenient spot for families and groups.
In summary, while Red Robin offers a friendly environment and good service, the food quality was disappointing. The sandwiches and sides didn’t meet expectations, and the value for money fell short, leaving much room for...
Read moreHorrible. Came in my with 2 year old and at first placed a carry out. My 2 year old was getting impatient for the wait so decided I would dine in. When I asked the hostess if I could change the carry out order to dine in she gave me a look of like “I don’t know ask the guy you ordered from.” And proceeded to tell me just that. After following up with the gentlemen who took my order, he told me it would be no problem and to visit the hostess stand again to get a seat. I did that, explained to the ladies we changed our minds, rolling their eyes they grabbed two menus and slammed them on the table and said well I guess you can sit here (one of the front booths). A very nice waitress approached us and I explained our situation. She was very accommodating. A few minutes later our carry out food was delivered to our table in the boxes by one of the hostesses. I looked at her and surprised said “oh, this wasn’t what I was expecting sense we changed our minds to dine in.” Again, a disgusted look like we were being an inconvenience says, “well I can bring plates.” I told her never mind we are all set and once the waitress came back over asked to speak to the manager. The manager was apologetic but offered nothing for the poor service. I was disappointed that she seemed to careless and not want to accommodate us. I gave her the feedback in person and told her I wouldn’t be returning. She didn’t seem to care. Just awful. I have a background in customer service and in the restaurant business and this was just unacceptable. Poor, poor, management and...
