Two words for the service: dumpster fire.
Walk in at 540pm to place an order for take out. The place is packed, and they arent seating people, but take my order anyway. The host says it's going to be a long wait - I ask what "long" means and she tells me first the order will be ready at 630pm, then pushes to 645pm. I grab a seat and wait - 645 comes and goes, but I see they are slammed with work so I give them some space. Host tells me she will give a discount for the food once I am ready to pay. Meamwhile - a guy who had paid already asks for a refund. We get to 730, and I finally call out that I walk in 5 min if the food is not ready.
Host response: my order is not even close to being ready and she doesnt know how long it will take to prepare. Needless to say, I leave having wasted 1 and a half hours of my day.
Long story short - avoid, avoid, avoid. Horrible service, very inattentive staff, and a total lack of knowledge on how to run a place.
@ Thai Delicacy - please be upfront with your customers. This was not acceptable by any standard and if you are unable to provide service to your customers within a reasonable time, you should say so. There were 10+ people packed waiting for pickup and you largely ignored us (besides for yelling 'sorry' a bunch of times.) Having limited options in a small town is not an excuse for this type of behavior...
Read moreSo much is relative! We cannot recommend what we ordered. Thai Delicacy was recommended by a good friend and a local hotel we we’re staying at so we decided to try for the first time. I was a little wary because of mixed reviews but we were running out of options on a Monday night 8/2/21. We both ordered the Pad Thai (one with chicken, one with tofu) figuring it is such a tried and true recipe—hard to mess up. What we got was a lot of noodles (about 90+%) with a little protein, and a teaspoon amount of carrot and green onion. See photo. The tofu dish was too salty. I ate some because I was so hungry and had little else. I thought about throwing it away (and I almost never do that) but brought it home a day later and added a bunch of veggies and some rice vinegar and it was better. Also, the food was wrapped in foil (ok) but served in STYROFOAM! 😫which lasts forever, pollutes everywhere it ends up in small nerdles, and kills wildlife! So unnecessary since food was wrapped. Sad to write this review but feel it is important to share so the chef can improve their Pad Thai and the owner can find compostable paper alternatives for serving. Service was friendly and good enough—we were told 30 min and we intentionally picked up in 45 min since another reviewer mentioned...

Palest Pad See Ew I ever had (which means not a lot of soy sauce, nor is it properly stir fried), and the rice noodles were basically mush. It didn't even have chinese broccoli/gai lan, just regular broccoli (which I guess you could use but if you're going for authentic thai...why?) and included cabbage and carrots, which I have never come across, and I have eaten this dish out at many a thai place.
The fried tofu had no seasoning and also was very pale. Seems they don't know how to stir fry here.
Their "silver noodle" weren't even ACTUAL silver needle noodles, just glass noodles. The waitress said they were a type of "mung bean" noodle which is just...factually incorrect?! If you meant they were made or looked of mung beans, what you served us WASN'T, and if you meant AUTHENTIC silver needle noodles are, no they aren't?!
I think this restaurant caters well to the clientele in the area: those who just don't know better, aren't asian, and haven't had good, authentic asian food. All I saw around me was a sea of pad thai plates.
Various typos riddle the menu and the wait staff just rushes you, which indicates a lack of care. Overall, I just...
