Little Sicily's Pizza — Restaurant in Truro Township

Little Sicily’s was our 4th stop on our Top 10 Central Ohio pizza tour. We are all family and drive from different areas to meet up to try different pizza places with high online reviews. We then review the establishment and the pizza. If you have any suggestions of new places just let us know!!

There were 6 of us tonight so I will be leaving everyone’s vote on a 0/10 scale at the bottom of the post.

Positives: First things first - the staff was amazing! They were all very friendly and welcoming. The drinks were always refilled and we never had to ask for a thing. Pizza was great! Crust is in between thick and thing. It was perfect thickness! It was nice and crispy. Most of us love it that way!

Negatives: I hate using the word negative to b honest because there really wasn’t anything “negative”. We had an hour wait BUT we were told this when we came in and chose to wait. Also, it was a Friday night so longer pizza waits are to be expected.

Scores: A - 7.5/10 she felt the pepperoni’s were a little too spicy for her. Even with spicy pepperoni’s Little Sicily’s made it to the top 2 of our places so far!

I - 8.0/10 - thought it was great but it was a little salty for her. (First time reviewer with us)

S - 8.3/10 - he loved the amount of pepperoni’s & cheese. Garlic bread was a little soggy, wishes it could have been crispier. Little Sicily’s made it to the top of his list of places we have tried so far!

T - 8.5/10 - she loved it!! (First time reviewer with us)

R - 8/10 - he feels this is one of the best places he’s tried recently! (First time reviewer with us)

S - 9/10 - Best pizza! Amount of pepperonis, mushrooms and cheese were awesome! Will be back to have Little Sicily’s again!

Overall, great environment and people. Recommend giving them a try and we will definitely drive up here again for...

I've been eating here for well over 15 years. They've been in my top 3 forever. They have that great thin crust with the cornmeal dusting. I have never had a bad experience until about 3 weeks ago.

I was there on a Friday night around 5 p.m. only two tables sat in the dining room. We ordered two appetizers and a large pizza. We waited almost an hour and our food still was not out. We decided to leave after tables who we're sat after us received their food. It was well after 6 p.m. at this time.

When we got to the counter to pay for our apps and leave our pizza was finally coming out. They asked if we wanted it to go and we declined. The whole purpose was to dine in. If I wanted carry out I would've ordered it. We ended up driving to another pizza place after and had dinner.

I was disappointed that the management working didn't acknowledge the issue at all. He just stared at us and got agitated like it was our fault. I didn't appreciate that he let the waitress apologize and take the brunt. It was not cool at all.

I wish there would've been any attempt to make it right. For that I'm giving it 4 out of 5. However because customer service is important to me. I unfortunately can't bring...

We came to town to check out Other world and thought this place looked like a great place to grab a pizza before hitting the road, we walked in and the atmosphere was very chaotic...no one greeted us and the smell was thick..burnt something, I finally asked if I just seat myself and the woman that finally acknowledged that we were standing there said "it will be over an hour..." I said ok, do we seat ourselves? I should have left...she then proceeded to tell us we would have to sit at a broken down dirty table in the doorway if we wanted to wait...then said "I'm closing the dining room at 4" ....it was 3:45, I got the feeling that they just didn't want to be bothered with another customer and just left. The girl we were talking with was just unprofessional and rude...she also had to pitiful plates of lettuce she was attempting to juggle with a bottle of beer...very disappointed, no where on their website does it say they close their dinning room at 4! Probably...
