Super fun time at game grounds, we’ve done otherworld before and it was amazing and this is great as well, got a couple high scores and were given prizes, staff was friendly, good variety of games but we do recommend going with a group of 3 to at most 6 since games do cap at 6 players. We came today so a week since opening so still fairly new and were told they’re working on a different way to do the point system to get more prizes over time and were given a chance to play another time as well for the feedback, great director there and fun themes loved it. Had juices, soda, and alcohol drinks, cotton candy, popcorn, and a few other snacks, strawberry lemonade popsicle was yummy

Update edit: just went back again about a month and a half after initial review since was offered free tickets to game grounds and unexpectedly otherworld too once we got there for us and our 5 other friends, team is super generous and helpful, none of our friends had previously been before but absolutely loved both this location and otherworld obviously, they enjoyed the ring toss drink (15$), I tried the hot dog (5$) which was pretty decent for a hot dog at an attraction, will say those who tried the pretzel (5$, 2$ extra for nacho cheese) were not a fan and wouldn’t recommend it but they also have other food options at the front area to choose from Our friend got first place on a game and received a free cool looking big sticker so make sure to tell management if you got a high score it’s worth it! I think our only mistake this trip was we had 7 people and games are designed for 6 a game so we split off into two groups as a competition instead for scores, I would recommend only bringing 6 or if more then bring an equal number of people to compete and I would avoid going for a high score on the ventriloquist game, it’s very fun getting far with a group but if your group is decent like us then we spent 20 minutes in there to only get a 25000 score and the high score on there was 44000 so took quite a bit of time we wanted to spend on other games we didn’t even realize had passed pfft Everything was fun though had a blast I’d come here a few times before it leaves in the summer

Update August 10: you can now earn stars off of your score and if you get 25 stars it’s a sticker and a candy, I got 40 stars and got those plus the choice of either a mask or a glowing hair braid, if you get 50 you get the choice of either a sticker sheet, a beanie or a pin, if you get 55 you get a mini plush, you can check your score on the site you get when you sign the waiver but doesn’t tell you the stars on there so make sure to pay attention when you’re done playing, it keeps your highest scored stars as your current one towards your total, think it’s a great update to the prize...

Came in tonight with a couple friends and did not have a good experience.

  1. we booked a reservation for 8:45 because it is stated on their website when you purchase tickets and in person at the counter that it is 21+ after 9pm. There was a group of people with multiple small children in line when we checked in. they were allowed in which we are not sure why because the counter says 21+ after 9. (also want to add that the website states no one under 21 can’t purchase tickets after 7:45)
  2. A different group with other small children kept interrupting our games, coming into the game rooms and playing the game as we are actively playing. This is what completely ruined our experience as we weren’t able to enjoy the games without being interrupted by the children and their parents. There was also other groups with underage people, and people coming in without wristbands trying to play the games and interrupting others. All while an employee was present. both groups with children were there the entire 75 minutes we were.
  3. Went to the service desk and explained our experience and were met with attitude and a defensive worker when we were all nice about our complaints. we did not ask for any compensation or anything and got told right away “we don’t do refunds”. There was no apologies for our experience and they also said that they “can’t control the 21+ rule”

We are all extremely disappointed in the staff and our experience and will not be returning. We picked a later time and paid more to be there on the weekend for the 21+ but did not get to have that experience. This would have been a great experience if they actually enforced their rules about the 21+. We were all very nice and respectful when we made our complaint but were not met with the same respect. I hope otherworld and game grounds will make improvements or enforce their rules, until then we won’t...

This place was silly, one-of-a-kind fun! Our kids are 13, 11, and 9 and they all had a blast. Our group of 5 was perfect because we could all play together (the games accept up to 6 players). There were 12 games- different spins on carnival/video games. We stayed the full 75 minutes, but took a 10 minute break in the middle to get soda and some popsicles (we went to other world for an hour first, so we were a little tired and overstimulated by then!) They have a little snack bar with popcorn and drinks. (Soda is $3, cocktails are $10-15.) We each had a different favorite game, and had enough time to do most things twice. We didn’t have to wait more than a few minutes for each game. It would have been helpful to know how much time we had left (the clock starts when you fill out your waiver) so just look at the time when you go in so you know when you’ll be done. I liked that there was a mix of competitive and cooperative games, and different styles so everyone could find something they liked and were good at.

My son had already gone with some friends for a birthday party (10 year old boys) and they loved it. But it could be a fun date night (my husband and I did play a couple things on our own). I would maybe go back with a different group for a new experience, but once or twice is probably enough. So creative though- the space is over the top with themed touches. So glad we checked it out!

And if you’re going to also visit other world while you’re there - you should!!- I would recommend doing that first so you can just take your time exploring that part before doing the timed portion...

I didn’t do a full research on this place but I did hear that you can win prizes. I had hoped that the workers would would help us figure it out. The workers were short in their answers and didn’t really give us a run down on what to do or how to play or win prizes. I went with my husband and 16 year old son. We figured it out as we went. We finished one round of games in about 25 minutes. Instructions on how to play the game are on the tablet where you scan to play. What we had to learn on our own: stars for prizes. You earn stars on some of the games (1-5 stars depending on how well you do). This stars can be brought over to the gift shop to win a small prize (candy, stickers and/or a fun item). There’s a max of 55 points. When we figured that out, we had about 30 mins to power play games to get us up to 55. Needless to say, we had a blast afterward we figured out how to be competitive and even won a bracelet!! Improvements: a tablet to scan your RFID to see your star count and a TV to show the points for the people active at the time.
