DO NOT USE PERIOD!! Would give a negative zero review if it let me. Never been so dissapointed with a company that is so unorganized!! My car was wrecked on 4/20/24, they picked my car up 4/21, in the driveway did a quick video saying it was a total loss. 21 days later and after 2 attempts of my insurance adjuster going out they said both times they were not ready with a supplement, was not ready for them and could not put it up on a lift as the estimate from my insurance company was only$755. Of repairs and 1 day to repair. All while the shop was telling me my insurance adjuster was a no show. A total lie! 4 days ago I went to the shop and they could not find me or my cars Vin # in the system. Then could not find my key fob. After and hour and a half they finally found my fob in the back, not with the rest of the keys, so I could get belongings but told me nobody from my insurance company had been out which was a total lie. I was informed Maurice the main guy was in the hospital and when my insurance adjuster went the 1st time he was told they were not ready for them, AGAIN this was 20 days of my car sitting at their lot, I was then told the guy that does the supplement is out for a family emergency until the next week. I begged and pleaded with them as my insurance only covers a rental for 30 days asking what we can do. I was told nothing just wait! They totally dropped the ball! Again it took an hour and a half to find me in the system and my key fob. I did not trust they will get my insurance a supplement in a timely fashion as they had more than enough time already! Having a different shop pick it up tomorrow. Highly recommend not to use. I understand things happen but with a shop full of employees they should be able to take care of customers if the owner is out. When I 1st called I heard good game of when I say go they go. That is not the case. The worst experience with a business EVER in my life and I'm nice and patient! Have been totally respectful every step along the way. Have not raised my voice, only pleaded my concerns asking what I can do to get them ready for my adjuster to come out and see the estimate of repairs. They don't care 21 days in and they have done nothing but run the adjuster off 2 times saying they are not ready for them to see an estimate and refused to put it on the lift. Go anywhere but here!! Heads up. Do not know how they are still in business!! 21 days today and nothing done but it sitting on your lot is not professional! Take heed in my warning so u dont get stuck paying for a rental before any estimate or repairs!! The good reviews must be from family and or friends. I have called several times the last 21 days, even showed up and got nowhere. 1 day i was put on hold for 55 minutes to get an update when i finally hung up cause had stuff to do. The front desk lady intentionally avoided calls while i was there the hour and a half. Her name is Tammy. Did not know what she was doing either and not taking care of customers making comments about it while i was there....
Read moreYou must remove your bad reviews, because I did not have a 4.9 experience. This is not a auto body repair shop, it's a body replacement shop. We brought in a 2004 Nissan Sentra with some moderate damage to the rear left quarter and some bumper damage. I will state that my initial call was pleasant and I felt comfortable with having them come and get the car. The only reason we had it towed was because the bumper needed to be held up and the left taillight was damaged. This is where it starts to unravel. The tow truck driver was given the wrong phone number and the wrong address and ended up miles away from us. MIstakes happen, I get that, I felt bad for the driver. The car eventually gets towed off, and now the fun begins. The next morning an estimate was sent via email. It was shocking to say the least. $10k for some side panel and bumper damage on a 15 year old car. Utterly ridiculous. They basically wanted to remove the entire left side quarter panel, floor panels on both sides, wheelhouses on both sides, trunk lid which wasn't damaged, bumper reinforcement beam which wasn't damaged, etc. I called the following morning to discuss "trimming the fat" with them as we were paying for the repairs out-of-pocket. I was directed to a woman and explained to her that what they had estimated was well beyond the repairs that were needed. I had a list of things that had no reason to be on the estimate and wanted to negotiate the repairs that needed to be made. I was told that the car had "major" damage and it was "totalled". This car is far from totalled. I was told that if they were to do the work, it would be what they estimated. At that point, I knew I would get nowhere with them and told them I would come get the car. We called another towing company and when he came to pick it up, he literally laughed when he was told what the estimate was. I would strongly suggest to others that you shop prices before you settle on this shop. They are liable to take off your entire rear end to replace a door handle. Before you question my knowledge of auto body repair, I worked in a shop for several years and a friend and I rebuilt a 73 VW ground up to showroom quality. We'll take our CASH somewhere else. EDIT: Maurice, I said no such thing. That is an utterly ridiculous statement, considering I stated exactly what was damaged and what was not damaged above. You estimated for a new trunk lid that had absolutely 0 damage to it. You can toss around words like integrity all day long, but it means nothing if you are going to misquote someone you have never spoken to. I stand...
Read moreFRAUD WARNING: King Collision collected a $500 âdeductibleâ from me and then charged an additional $500 âdeductibleâ to my insurance company. The kicker? They never actually repaired my car because it was totalled. I went into the repair shop to settle my bill and my insurance agent spoke directly to the shop in order to verify the exact amount of money owed. After the shop finished speaking with my agent, they struggled for the next 30-40 minutes figuring out how much money I owed. He then verbally told me what was owed and had me âpunch it into the calculator app on my phoneâ (yikes). This first number is lower than I believe it should be. He says âAdd $500 for the deductibleâ. Now the number is correct, but I should not be charged a âdeductible'âthat is something that the insurance company collects and pays towards the repair of your vehicle. Nonetheless, this number is correct according to my agent, the shop and my calculator app. When I finally check out, I ask for a detailed receipt. The next day I get an email from my agent saying that there is a problem and the shop has not released my car. I assumed it was just a misunderstanding, so my agent and I called the shop. The shop then demands an ADDITIONAL $500 âdeductible' in order to release my car. This is NOT what was discussed on a recorded phone line with my agent the day before. This is NOT the amount of money that the salvage/ towing company was told. This is NOT the amount of money that I clarified with the body shop directly in-person the day before, nor is it correct according to the receipt that they gave me. When my agent confronted the shop as to 1) Why I was being charged a deductible at all for no repair work and 2) Why the bill was still incorrect after speaking with them directly, their reply was, âItâs just semantics.â, before laughing and hanging up on me and my agent. Insurance fraud is just semantics, apparently. At the very least, they are grossly negligent in their business practices and should not be trusted with your property or your money.
To King Collision: If you would like to dispute the factuality of this statement with me or my insurance company, PLEASE DO!!! All of the calls between me, my agent and your shop were recorded and unlike your incompetent employees, I actually keep...
