I recently visited Waffle House, and let me tell you, it was an absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish! The food was nothing short of amazing, with the Buckeye Buster stealing the show. This dish was a masterpiece—perfectly crafted with flavors that hit all the right spots. The eggs were cooked to absolute perfection, fluffy and just the way I like them. The biscuits were warm, buttery, and melted in my mouth, while the hash browns were crispy, golden, and seasoned to perfection. And don’t get me started on the gravy—it was magnificent, rich, and creamy, elevating every bite to a whole new level of deliciousness. The store itself was spotless and incredibly welcoming. From the moment I walked in, the bright, clean environment made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal. The staff? Pure gold. Everyone was kind, professional, and went above and beyond to make my visit memorable. My server, Kiki, was an absolute superstar—attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was perfect. I also have to give a huge shoutout to Marco, Niki, Mymy, Rodney, Ambria, and Charles. They are hands-down the most amazing Waffle House staff to ever exist. Their teamwork, energy, and dedication to making every customer feel special was truly remarkable. These folks deserve raises for their outstanding service and for making my meal an unforgettable experience. Waffle House, you’ve got a gem of a team and a menu that’s out of this world. I’ll be back for more of that Buckeye Buster and that...
Read moreThese are not the waffles you're looking for. My first choice was iHop but as we walked in we were told there had been a "water pipe problem and a strong smell was inside" which caused us to walk in and walk out. So then we chose Edy's on Noe Bixby, but they were closed. I wish we had waited.
Waffle house is.....filthy. The table was covered in food and syrup, tissues stuck under the table, the floor covered in filth and syrup, so much so that you can see shoe prints and hear them stick to the ground. The service is terrible. We sat for at least 5 solid minutes while 3 staff members stood behind the counter talking. When the server did come up, it was obvious this person didn't like their job. She mumbled in a monotone voice, didnt introduce herself, brought us spotted silverware, and when she did come back to take our orders she spoke so fast you could barely make out the questions.
The food...not good. The waffle came out first and it's so thin it could have been a place mat. Then the sausage came out, loaded with salt. Then the rest of the meal; scrambled eggs, toast and hash browns. The scrambled eggs were meh, the toast had nothing with it so I kindly asked our server for jelly which was greeted with "whatchu want?", the hashbrowns were cold and also loaded with salt.
I couldn't get through it. 22 dollars for 2 meals that were only a quarter eaten. After we left I felt like I needed to purge and get a do...
Read moreCame here for a breakfast for dinner experience but it didnt go well. I was the only person in there dining area. I got the not so all star - all star special with bacon with some other fixins. Sadly everything was piled up on plate and crispy like the bacon - hash browns you guessed it crunchy, with my add -ons of mushrooms, tomatoes and onions piled on top over cooked. Eggs scrambled with cheese also crunchy but surprisingly the toast which was not toasted smeared with cold butter and the young man cooking and serving didnt even acknowledge or ask me if anything was wrong after i asked that the toast be toasted and showed him. I asked him was it just him working to give a pass but he replied his manager is working on prep matter of factly. I didnt venture towards the pecan waffle as most of the food on the plate was cooked to death or not cooked at all. One insulting thing after getting bad service and food and after tipping 4 bucks on a 13 buck tab he looked me in the face and said have a nice day as if I came there to be a problem to his day. I will not be back and i will stick with the waffle house...
