I ordered the beef pho from Lotus Pho and HAWAIIAN BBQ. The flavor was decent — nothing groundbreaking, but it hit the spot. The broth had a good base, and the beef was tender enough, though it could’ve used a bit more depth or seasoning to really stand out.

What really brought the experience down was the customer service, or lack thereof. It felt like I was just another ticket on the board. No greeting, no check-in, no goodbye — just a hand-off at the counter. Not rude, but definitely impersonal.

I was looking for pho in the area and stumbled upon this little diamond in the rough. Although located in an older more rundown shopping plaza, what was found inside was more than worth the adventure. I was greeted by young lady who took my order and gave off an exceptionally joyous vibe. I decided to eat in to get the full experience. Happened upon this restaurant from a video my son saw on tiktok about “hidden gems”. Hidden gem couldn’t be more appropriate! Being part Hawaiian, I’ve struggled to find good Hawaiian bbq outside of Hawaii or Florida. This place is amazing and in Ohio! I ordered the bbq combination platter.
