Pizza and breads baked in a brick oven. In the summer, they grow many of their pizza ingredients in the planters in front of the store. Delicious pastries; scones, danishes, and cinnamon rolls. Perfect cookies. Crescents that taste like butter with a hint of wheat. Want to be happy and hate yourself at the same time? Try one of their mini pizzas on a crescent crust. Their menu claims they have the best challah in town(they bake challah on fridays). This is 100% true. It's not kosher, if that's a deal breaker for you, and, if it is, that's too bad. You're seriously missing out. They don't do baguettes, which makes me a little sad. To cheer up, i throw a nice thick slice of "sweet rustic" into the toaster oven. Works every time.
They also sell dairy products from amish country at great prices. The same stuff they use in their recipes. The butter is better than anything they have at kroger, and only costs a little more than the store brand. Since we started buying butter from Tyler's, our own baked treats have vastly improved.
I recommend them to anyone visiting reynoldsburg. Worth the drive if you're anywhere in the greater columbus area, though. Heck, it's worth the drive if you're in another state. Don't believe me? They've got free samples.
Also, the staff is very friendly and clearly care about what they're doing. I decided to add this as an afterthought, because some people care about that sort of thing. I would still recommend Tyler's if they slapped me in the face every time i went in, and then put my bread through the slicer sideways.

Read moreSometimes I really hate that you have to be honest with these reviews. This is one of those times. The lady at the counter was so warm and friendly. The baker, an industrious hard worker who you can't help but admire for the way he tackles life. I WANTED to give these guys five stars. But... honesty. Ugh. I had the candy corn pie and chili calzone. The first is essentially a cheese pizza made to look like candy corn. I don't know how you can mess up a cheese pizza, but it was not good. Wrong spices or something? Normally, I'll finish off an entire pizza in 24 hours. This one, I had two slices and that's all I could stomach. The calzone was only marginally better. Originally I wanted the noted chili roll, but was told they didn't have any today. So, calzone. And it wasn't that good. Mainly, too much bread not enough chili. I will give Tyler's another try. I feel like they deserve that much. But, for now, I just can't recommend them. I will be rooting for them to stay in business, though. Because, sometimes, people matter...
Read moreTyler's Pizza: A Flavorful Feast! I recently had the pleasure of trying Tyler's Pizza, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the first bite to the last, every element was bursting with flavor. The pizza itself was perfectly cooked, with a delicious crust that struck the ideal balance between chewy and crispy. The toppings were fresh and plentiful, and the sauce was clearly made with high-quality ingredients. But the real star of the show, surprisingly, was the brownie. Forget your standard dense, fudgy brownie; Tyler's offered a cake-like brownie that was truly melt-in-your-mouth. It was light, airy, and incredibly rich, with a perfect balance of sweetness. It was a wonderful and unexpected treat, and I highly recommend saving room for dessert! Overall, Tyler's Pizza delivered a fantastic culinary experience. The combination of flavorful pizza and the heavenly brownie makes this a must-try for any pizza lover. I will definitely be ordering from...
