It saddens me that I cannot get a steak cooked to the level of doneness right the first time. Ordered med rare outlaw ribeye ($29.29) and was served rare...pitiful. 👎👎👎 Earlier visit, I ordered medium and received med well. Love the flavor of Longhorn, but I cannot get what I order. My wife's appetizer Wild West Shrimp ($11.79) was overcooked. 👎👎👎She ate half and left the other half. I only wish kitchen staff could prepare an order to proper specifications. I showed my waiter the ribeye and he offered to take it back, but I told him that I will take it home and cook it myself. I do not like returning food to the kitchen. I did enjoy the chicken wings ($11.99) and my wife enjoyed the mixed green salad with white balsamic dressing. She was also surprised at the price of an ice tea ($3.39). Pretty bad when the only positive thing I can say about my visit was good chicken wings and a cold salad. Lastly, I must add that I was concerned when the host told me that it would be 15 minutes before we would be seated...Thursday afternoon @ 1:45??? Hmmm...😒😒😒 I poked my head around into the dining room and it was 70% empty. I told my wife: "let's go somewhere else, but she loves the wild west shrimp. I will not visit this establishment again in Trussville, Alabama. What is going on Longhorn Trussville?Total price for lunch was $62.11 and I left Keith, our waiter $12.00. GRAND TOTAL $74.11...👎👎👎 for improperly cooked food. No more!

Overall, this was a pretty decent spot! The food was tasty, and the place was clean for the most part. When I unwrapped my silverware, one piece was dirty—which isn’t great—but having worked in the food industry, I know that can happen from time to time. Our server, Kenneth, seemed a bit off. His shirt was untucked, he looked very sweaty, and at one point while handing us coffee, sweat was literally dripping from his face. My first coffee cup also had a lipstick stain, which was a bit off-putting. That said, Kenneth did take care of everything once we pointed it out. While he wasn’t the most attentive, he was very kind, and he made sure our orders were correct. We ended with the strawberry shortcake, and it was pretty tasty. All in all, I like this place and would come back. Just a few small things that could make the experience even better.

12/28/22 update... I went online to reserve a table however the website stated no wait time but when we got inside the host stated 20 minutes. I advised them of the online notes. They sat us immediately. The manager Jay was very helpful exactly what this location needs a hands on manager. The food was hot and delicious! No complaints. This restaurant recently opened it was really busy an hour wait but worth the wait. They had their certified staff training so flowed extremely well. The food was absolutely wonderful. I hope this quality service and food continues. 6/10/23 update I met my mom and sister for lunch. Every thing was hot and delicious. I ordered the cheesecake it was absolutely divine. The caramel and candied pecans paired well with the thick cheesecake not whipped which I prefer.

Service started out great and managers (i assume) were checking on everyone's tables and walking around. However my food was completely wrong. I had ordered a Filet but our server, Itiah, must've not been able to read what she wrote down. She had asked how I wanted it cook when she took our orders but when the food came out they had given me chicken so I sent it back. While the correct order was being cooked, the head manager dressed in red had walked by our table twice and it wasn't until the third time he had stopped and asked about my food. It was as if everyone knew my order was wrong because everyone stopped checking on our table. I had ordered my filet medium and when it finally come out I was only able to eat less than half because it came out medium rare. Now neither our server nor the head manager stopped by our table to double check how my food was cooked when it was brought out. It wasn't until our server asked us if we wanted boxes when we had told her that my food still wasn't prepared correctly. She also never apologized or owned up to however this mistake happened. Also my drink was charged for a refill but my parent's drinks were not charged. I had a Mr. Pibb and they had diet cokes. Me and my family won't be back at this location simply because no one apologized for the mistake and when the mistake was made, everyone kept walking past our table but kept asking other tables how everything was. We were completely ignored even though we were nice and quiet about it because no one likes to make a scene...or at...

Be c it said that good things come in small packages and compared to some of the other LongHorn Steakhouses I've been to, this one was built on a budget. It was definitely the small floor plan but I must say the food was top shelf. It was a well deserved ending to our long day of shopping. Though we had a 50 million ute wait, it was truly worth the wait. The server was pleasantly knowledgable about the bar stock. We ordered the Prime rib with salad and potatoes dressed up to go to church. The steel was one of the tenderest I've had in awhile and was evenly grill spice seasoned. Just the right amount of fat....in case you didn't know, the fat is where its at... . We were going to leave after being told that we had a 50 minute wait but eventually we were glad we persevered. Also, it was Saturday so a crowd was expected. The timing of the food service was good. Appetizer and main course. I'm a little disappointed that my double shot of Don Julio seemed a little short though. The place seemed to be rin quite well by the staff and managers. I actually saw manager serving another table. Point, get the mushrooms and the rib eye. Can't go wrong. Keep in .ind that it's small as compared to the others, but this Longhorns makes it up in food quality and service. ...
