I've had a coffee.
Nein, neit, non, I have had a cappuccino, (bless that monastic order of good christian men/monks), and a chai.
The area is darling, just the edge of an old school 1940s era neighborhood of little houses. You can walk with; a loved one, group of friends, or your 4 legged pet around to little shops up the street or down the street a block away, or to a park which is past a quiet little cemetery that every Adams familia would love, 3 blocks away. The park is a memorial for soldiers, beautiful design with a bridge over a small creek.
This little house has turned into a "coffeehouse"!!! It has areas that would make a sweet spot for a business meeting (in person or on zoom/tech), brunch with all your Bible study girls, or sorority sisters. It has WiFi! It has an enclosed outside porch for those who love nature yet not insects. It has the start of "atmosphere" that could easily become a legend. Your mission, should you choose to accept; go unto this small hamlet, partake of the offerings ✨🤝🫴 ask for expansion of menu, build this business with your consistency & custom, build family memories with a game of Jenga or backgammon, discuss heavenly realms with your best friends, discuss earthly concerns with business partners, build & forge relationships like our forefathers (those quaint reserved strong gentleman who became leaders of a world power by striving for better every day & with wild radical concepts of their time decided all men were equal & entitled to individual rights!!! Coffeehouses are renowned for being birthplaces of ideas) or stop by after you've been in town for supplies for your farm n pick up a brew, read a book & relax. This coffeehouse is waiting to become a sanctuary of many✨💞
Come by, Maple Avenue is calling. I recommend the cappuccino 🤔 Next week it will be...
Read moreTruly, everything about my brief visit here was perfect. The music reminded me of Korean cafés. The volume was perfect and it was basically smooth jazz or other "elevator music" conducive to studying/working without interference.
The lady with the red hair (I'm assuming the owner) who took my order and made my drink was so polite and efficient. The entire cafe was clean, yet it was an older home that had been converted into the cafe with a bunch of charm.
I got the palm springs macchiato and it was delicious. Even though it was supposed to be a sweeter speciality drink, it wasn't sacrony sweet like some cafés who basically overload their coffee with milk, sugar, and foam and no actual espresso to speak of. The drink was expertly made and helped to fuel my remote work when I needed it during the mid-day slump. I rarely get over to this side of town, but if I do in the future, I'll be sure to...
