I recently had my child’s birthday party here. The kids had a great time, but I do feel they dropped the ball in certain areas.
The Good: Upon arrival the younger lady at the front was very nice. She explained everything to me, gave me my skate wrist bands and directed me to the party check-in. The kids had a great time skating and laser tag. The guy who was working laser tag on the evening of 3/22 was nice, funny, and helpful. The kids really enjoyed laser tag. The music was fun, upbeat, and fun music to skate to.
The Bad: After arriving to the party check-in area, everything went downhill. Nothing was explained properly. I was told I could arrive to my party room about 15min early. Once it was time for my party, I noticed I was not able to put my centerpieces down because there were not any table clothes on the table. I went back to party check in and asked for table clothes. I thought they were supposed to put them down for you. Next, they brought in the pizza, I had to go back to party check in to ask for plates. I understand there is an additional charge for extra but I should not have to ask for the 10 that came with the party. I also ordered water prior to check in and it was never brought. I had to go back to check in to ask for napkins. As we were halfway through party ready for cake. I had to go back again to check in to ask for plates for cake, them giving me those plates were like pulling teeth. I had to go back to check in to ask for the glow party necklaces and bracelets, that was also hard to get. The girl at the party check-in had to ask someone if she could give them to me, although they came with the party. I had to go back to check in to ask for help to set up the black lights. Nobody ever came to help me. I made wayyyy to many trips to check in for simple things that should have already been set up for me that were INCLUDED with the package. I do understand that the party did not include a hostess but simple things like plates, forks and napkins should have been given. And to have a GLOW party without the glow. Smh. The ONLY thing they brought to me was pizza (no plates) and drinks. The girls in the party check-in area need some additional training. They were very clueless about all things...
Read moreNever again! Yesterday 10/18/2025, my 3 cousins, my 2 year old and I arrived at the skating rink for a birthday party that started at 6. We had a pretty busy day so we arrived late at 8:08. We patiently waited in line. When we got to the window, the elderly lady refused to let us buy a wristband because we were told that we had to be accompanied by an adult thats 25 and older. The sign out says if you’re 15 and younger you’ll have to be accompanied by an adult that’s 25 and older but if you’re over 16 you’ll have to have a valid state ID.. I’m 24 and my cousins are 21. I don’t look younger than 21.. I’ll drop a picture for an example. We told her our ages and she still didn’t ask for our ID’s she just kept saying no we can’t go in. I told her what the sign said, she walked out to read it herself and we walked out with her so we could read it together. That’s when we just pulled out our ID’s and showed her ourselves. She did apologize but still kept saying she didn’t let us buy wristbands because we APPEARED young… I asked her where is her manager, she lied and said that she’s the manager. My cousins just ended up doing laser tag then we left because we wasted more time going back and forth. I was told by somebody else that she called me ugly and said that I did a lot, not sure how true that is but again, that’s what I was told. When they were closing I went back in to address that then I found the real manager and explained to her what occurred. The elderly lady told the manager that I was mad with her before I could say anything. I said I’m not mad but I do feel a way. The manager did apologize and explain to us so i do appreciate that. The manager said she’ll look at the cameras and review them when...
Read moreI see that I am not the only one who is writing in reference to the staff poor and disgusting attitude along with racial discrimination. I also see on on here that people wrote reviews about wearing headgear. Several years ago men were taught to remove headgear when crossing a threshold of a house, business, and church, that was displaying respect. Men wore those items for protecting their head and for fashion, UNLESS IT WAS APART OF CULTURE OR RELIGION. Time has changed men wear headgear for a little bit of everything fashion, organization affiliations, protection, etc. With time changing I do understand the reasons behind not wanting customers to wear headgear in an establishment UNLESS it is APART of their CULTURE/RELIGION. It’s different for women because head- covering has been PRACTICED by women of different cultures and religions from the beginning of time. It’s not fashion, it’s culture. With that being said TO THE OWNERS OF TRUSSVILLE PLAYSTATION INDIANS ARE NOT THE ONLY GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO WEAR HEADWRAPS
Plus, I’m pretty sure the owners with the nasty attitude is a Christian who knows their Bible backwards and forward. The Bible mentions For a man ought not to have his head covered, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. For man does not originate from woman, but woman from man; for indeed man was not created for the woman’s sake, but woman for the man’s sake. Therefore the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head… (1...
