It was good. The staff that was working that day were all really friendly. They even brought around samples. If you have ever been to Newks it is very similar. Both of our sandwiches were good. I just wish I had asked for it to be warm. My husband said that is probably the best Ruben sandwich he has ever had. The thing that took away my 5th star was the pick two...it is very limited on what half sandwich you can pick with your soup and I wish it was any sandwich. So for us we almost always do the pick two if it is available and this time we were unable to so with 2 sandwich, 2 regular size drinks, 2 cups of soup...the price was right under $40. That's a little too expensive for me. The tomato basil soup was really good. The creamy potato soup was very very thin. The bowls they serve them in are really cool though. But I definitely encourage everyone to go try it out at least because it is good food and it's always better to support local businesses rather than chain/franchise.

Moving to Birmingham last year, were always in search of a 5 star sandwich shop. Today we found this hidden gem in Trussville, AL The quality of deli meat is top quality, the bread is delicious and the way they take their time making sure it's perfect just shows the outstanding customer service they deliver. It's super cute inside warm & welcoming. One of the best things about this restaurant is they have Gluten Free options that taste great. I Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be coming back often.

I absolutely love this place, I don't get a chance to come as often as I would like. But when I do come, the food is magnificent. After living in New York for over 20 years, I always wanted to find a place that made homemade soups and sandwiches. I was so happy to find this place, because they used the best ingredients. You will not be able to find a better homemade soup anywhere around. I'm a scratch cook myself and I'm giving credit where it is due. You will not be disappointed if you try this place.

RED BIRD'S ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hands down BEST chicken caesar salad and bologna sandwich I've ever had. If you haven't yet, definitely give them a try! I go there a couple times a week just for their caesar salad and I'm not even a salad person. Currently drinking a coke and eating a slice of coconut cake with my salad if that says anything. Kinda makes me feel a little bit healthier😂 Also, I feel like I can hear people going ahead and saying why would I buy a bologna sandwich when I can make one at home. Thing is, you can't make one like them. It's on Texas toast too🥹 I feel like I sound like an ad, but I sure would love to see them get the business they deserve❤️
