⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) Meltwich – Tucker, GA
Meltwich just opened up in Tucker, taking over the old soul food spot—and it’s already a flavorful game-changer! This place offers a little something for everyone, with Halal, vegan, beef, chicken, and veggie options. The menu is packed with grilled cheese sandwiches, burgers, wings, and Phillies. Sides range from fries and tater tots to mac ’n cheese wedges (yes, wedges!), and even tomato bisque soup.
I tried the Big Melt Combo with tater tots. The sandwich was a grilled cheese-burger mashup with double smash patties, pickles, lettuce, onions, and Melt sauce (I opted out of tomatoes). Flavorful, filling, and definitely a fun twist on a classic burger! The tots were a bit soggy and unsalted, probably from the takeout container—but next time, I’ll try the fries or ask for salted tots.
The restaurant is clean, cozy, and great for small groups. There aren’t many tables, but it’s a comfortable dine-in spot. Super friendly staff, and they’ve got self-order kiosks and tap-to-pay—a nice modern touch. Be sure to join their loyalty program to start earning points for free food!
This is a fresh, fun new addition to Tucker’s food scene, and I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Pro tip: check the menu online first—it’s packed with tempting options!
📍Overall: Great food, friendly vibes, and lots of potential....
Read moreI really wanted to like this place, and I appreciate what they’re building in Tucker. The space is clean, the concept is cute, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I loved that there’s a kiosk for easy ordering, free refills when dining in, and a comfortable vibe with big fans and a few cozy tables — great for a casual hangout.
I ordered a classic cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, jalapeños, ketchup, mayo, and mustard. Maybe I chose too many toppings that overpowered the flavor, but even after removing some, the burger still didn’t hit for me. The meat lacked seasoning and didn’t leave much of an impression. I also upgraded to the mini poutine fries. They arrived hot, which I appreciated, but the gravy was extremely thick and not very flavorful, and the cheese curds didn’t melt. The fries came unsalted, but they do offer salt and pepper on the side.
That said, I still support what Meltwich is trying to do 🫶🏽it’s a fresh new option in an area that’s losing many of our staple food spots. With a little tweaking in the kitchen and more focus on flavor, this could be a go-to spot. I’ll be keeping an eye out as they grow, and I’m rooting for...
Read moreI visited here Sunday September 7th, 2025 so my review is late lol but I just thought about it when I seen something as I was scrolling. First I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING VEGAN CHEESE!!!!!!! I was absolutely in the mood for a burger for days lol and since this spot isn't too far from my weekend job, I decided to stop by on my break. I was NOT disappointed and was pleasantly surprised by the vegan sandwich option. I walked in and was greeted by Achin, the cashier, who had amazing customer service and was super nice, understanding and patient. I purchased the regular burger, I forget the name but it had 2 beef patties and I personalized it with vegan cheese (I'm lactose intolerant), jalapenos, pickles and onions. I asked for the Meltwich sauce on the side. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!! I recently got a molar pulled, so no solid foods for me for a little while (which is why my review is delayed) but the MOMENT my mouth feels well enough to handle it, I'm headed back to Meltwich!! The owner was so nice and I can tell he takes pride in his restaurant! I pray this establishment is here for...
