I Am The One Who KnocksI Am The One Who Knocks
I've seen lazy working my day. I've seen inconsistencies, bad attitude, and filth. But flat out ignorance and stupidity is unacceptable. I ordered two large Hook and Ladder Subs and on both of them I received unriped green tomatoes pictured below. The pictures alone are proof enough but the ignorance to put green tomatoes on a sandwich I haven't even seen that done overseas as a delicacy. To be so lazy as to cut up a green tomato to put on a deli sandwich is repugnant and honestly spiteful if it isn't stupid. And you can tell that the tomatoes are unripe because you can see The Red Tent in them. This was Despicable to even serve to people. I encourage you to never visit this location and actually it should be closed down if they can't do any better than that. Worst part about it is is they're not even actual Green Tomatoes where you can use for fried green tomatoes these are literally unriped red tomatoes. I've never in my life seen anything so trifling and lazy. Do not go to this location ever.

Firehouse deleted my review from last Tuesday (November 11th), so here it goes again. This was my first time in Firehouse subs and I was disappointed. I specifically asked for no onions and no tomatoes on both of my subs, but instead I got extra tomatoes and onions. How can anyone mess up on an order when it’s printed right there on the ticket? Also, firehouse instead of you deleting my honest review, address the issue with the customer. It’s very upsetting to know y’all are out here deleting reviews instead of making it right with your patrons.

Firehouse may appear to be a "clone" of Subway... but the food and service couldn't be more different!! The cold and hot subs crafted by these sandwich experts are nothing short of divine! (Get the Hook & Ladder - thank me later) Everything always fresh and exploding with flavor. It may sound too good to be true - but it's the real deal! Nice atmosphere, great service, and awesome food! Make sure you introduce a friend to this restaurant, they'll love you for it!

I was just trying to get a sandwich. Walked in at 8:40 with my partner. Went register while the young lady was helping what looked to be a door dash/Uber eats pickup, no big, I'm patient enough. I see the countertop advertising that I can now get my sandwich on GARLIC BREAD?!?!?! Oh, heckin swell! This glorious moment of revelation is immediately and brusquely terminated by an employee (supervisor?) in a red shirt who barks out ,"we're not taking orders", and grabs (I Believe )a cutting board before disappearing back to his troll cave (I assume) in the back. I remarked to my partner, who, by the way, is the one whose idea it was to come here, and who doesn't seem to be as properly excited about the garlic bread revelation as I am " why even leave the freaking door open?". She is just as surprised as me, but not nearly as disappointed. (I think this is due to the relative excitement levels about the aforementioned garlic bread) We walk out to car, and the situation just sticks in my craw. It's not closing time, the business is listed as being open, and there is now the option of garlic bread, if I can just get past the angry little man in his little red shirt. I go back in, and ask the seemingly nice young lady if I could get the name of the person who informed me that they were not taking orders. He immediately appeared from under the bridge and asked if he could help me. I repeated the question, and he spat out NO, and headed back to (once again, I assume) run all the fairy tale creatures out of his swamp. At this point I was recording, and simply replied that I would just get his face. The video I grabbed of him is at significantly higher resolution than all those grainy Sasquatch videos, but might bear some descriptive similarities.

My camera cut off while I was pulling up the listed hours of operation, but I got it back to ask for the contact info for this location's management group. I was blatantly ignored by all employees. To be fair, it seemed like the two young people working were just trying to avoid the wrath of He Who Dwells Behind The Wall. I can't honestly say I blame them. When he came out to break down the steam table against the wall, I asked again for the contact info. "I don't like the way you talked to me, so I'm not talking to you", he said, without a tinge of the irony obvious to anyone who has been verbally told, "I'm not talking to you" The sum of our total verbal interactions is recorded for posterity, minus the initial denial of service. It'll make a cute YouTube video.then he continued to talk, even though he's not talking to me. I simply said, "all I did was walk to the counter". His next (possibly drunk? I don't know, maybe) stream of words was just as confusing, especially since all I had done before our first interaction is decide on a sandwich, oh, and learn that I could get that sandwich on GARLIC Bread.

"Do what you're gonna do man. This is what you wanted, isn't it?" As if the whole reason I came in tonight was to bet that some disgruntled bald man with a bunch of missing teeth would deny me service and then try to prevent me from reporting his Neanderthal behavior. This is when I admittedly lost MY composure. I said, and will say again, "no, what I WANTED was a f@#$ing sandwich"

At this point my partner is appealing to my better angel to leave and handle this thru a higher authority tomorrow.

Alright, class, this has been long, so TLDR breakdown: Listed hours are really just fluctuating guidelines. Standing at a counter quietly somehow irritates some people. Personal responsibility for negative interactions is harder and harder to find. Wanting a sandwich shop to make a sandwich in exchange for money during opening hours is wrong. Oh, and did you know that if you can actually GET a sandwich order in, you have the option of having it on...

We went here so I could try Firehouse since I'd not been to one before. We did arrive half an hour before close, so I didn't expect much and planned to order our sandwiches with no changes or frills and take them to go.

I've got to say, I wasn't impressed, even with relatively low expectations due to the time. We were ignored by the one visible employee for almost 10 minutes once we arrived. That one muttered under her breath some and called back to the back to ask what time it was when we didn't leave. There were 2 other employees that came from the back at some point, but said little to us other than to take our order. All in all I got the feeling they wanted us to get tired of waiting and leave, and that we were a serious inconvenience. The guys were polite, but the girl was salty the whole time.

When we got home, everything was there as we ordered, but the sandwiches were SOAKED in mayonnaise. You couldn't really taste anything else and the bread was too sodden to pick up. I had to flip mine over and eat it upside down. The trip home was only about 5 minutes.

I give it 3 stars because the trip was the bare minimum. We ordered, got what we ordered, and the one employee who interacted with us directly was polite. But the indirect shade, shoddy sandwich construction, and the fact that it took 30 minutes to get 3 to go sandwiches? That's a bit much. I've seriously had better sandwiches and service from pop up Subway kiosks than this experience.

I will probably try again during a day shift to see if things are different after reading other reviews about night shift being lackluster, but I'm honestly not looking...

First off let me say it was some Red Flags going off in my head when I came in but the lady in the front who was ringing people up she was so nice about everything now with that being said No I won't visit this location no more why because it was 4 people who were working on the line the first 2 were the Manager and a person in training the second 2 people I guess they knew what they were doing but not first off your working with people food the African American came off behind the counter and grabbed some chip his gloves was extremely oily and had sauce on them and instead of him changing them he kept working with these same gloves and he kept coming off behind this counter with these same dirty gloves and also the manger didn't tell nobody to change there gloves she was still using her same gloves as well then they messed up my sandwich they put onions on it I was done when the boy had already touched it and he didn't change his gloves I even told the manager I'm watching him coming from behind this counter grabbing chips to put in the order and he not changing his gloves not one time or washing there hands you are cross contaminated every thing OMG only if people know what they are dealing with when people are working with there food and you not standing there watching but everyone needs training all over except the young lady who was ringing up everybody and she was in training her self but was doing a better job than the...
