
If I could give negative stars in a review I would. With the experience we had last night this location does not even deserve one star. My husband and I were very hungry and our power was out so we decided on fast food over a sit down restaurant so we could get our food quicker. On our way to Chick-Fil-A we saw Zaxby's and had heard good things so we decided to give it a try instead. After ordering our food we sat down and waited...and waited...and waited. My husband went up to the counter 2 different times and was ignored/sent away. Finally after 35 minutes of waiting for our food (which at that point a sit down place would have been faster) my husband asked for the manager. They had lost our order and never made our food. We got our food a few minutes later and our order wasn't even complete. We had payed for 3 sauce cups and only received 2 of them, so we had to go up to the counter once again. We started eating our food only to find that our chicken strips were only slightly warm and some were even cold to the touch in spots. Extremely mad at this point we took our food up to the counter and upon describing the problem got the response "well it can't be cold, I just fried it!" Not, oh I'm sorry, let us fix that for you and also we are sorry you had to wait so long for your food...we got attitude. Here's the real kicker, we asked for a refund as we wanted to take our business elsewhere and the assistant manager, Tierra refused to refund the 2 sauce cups we had opened and the drink (which was warm because they had no ice). The way she was acting about the situation, I'm surprised she didn't deduct $.25 from the fries because we ate a coupe of them and $.50 from the chicken because we ate one strip. After leaving still super hungry and extremely pissed we went to Wendy's next door, went through the drive through (ordered, paid, and got our food in under 5 minutes like a fast food establishment should be) and drove 15 minutes home. Read moreI'd give zero stars if it was allowed. The Zaxby's location in Tucker, Georgia on Hugh Howell Road has horrible customer service. I drive for various on-demand food delivery companies, and on 8/15/23 at 11:10 am, I accepted a delivery order. I normally say no to this location because they are notoriously bad on timing, but they seemed to have improved the last few times I went there so I decided to give them a chance. I was very close to the restaurant, so I had to have arrived no later than 11:15 am. I let a crew member know right away who I was picking up the order for and was told it'll be a "few minutes". 20 minutes later I canceled the order and left. I get the feeling sometimes that the employees at these restaurants think that because I'm not technically the customer (I'm still a customer) and I'm not on a time constraint because I'm not an employee, that they can prioritize other orders over the ones being picked up by on-demand drivers, and that I can afford to just wait. The companies I drive for may not have me on a time clock, but I have me on a time clock. My time is valuable. Just like they feel like I'm not an employee, which means I don't have anyone to "answer to" when it comes to the amount of time it takes for me to deliver an order, they need to understand that SINCE I'm not an employee I can leave when I get ready to. Read moreI sat in line for 20 mins placed my order at the intercom i had forgot to order the cheese bits got to the window in 5 secs or less and told the young girl i need to order the cheese bits I forgot to and she said she cant add nothing at the window the manager doesnt like it cause its cooked to order i said im a manager 5 years at McDonald’s and have never refused to let someone order at the window or change there order at the window and me and the young girl went back and forth i just told her can i talk to the manager manager walks over and i can hear whats shes saying no no we cant add at the window before walking up to the window with it open she gets to the window and says we dont add at the window but ill do it this time im helping you out.
