Absolutely the worst Chick-Gil-A site in the state of Georgia. The management is invisible! Recently went there on a Thursday afternoon at 3:41 pm. I ordered a drink and a sandwich. The order taker was friendly and courteous. The line was slow. High school employees were disorganized. I get to the window for my order and a blonde high school girl, shoulder length hair with pig tails , tells me “ move up to stop sign”. So I did. Mind you not please move up to stop sign. I sit there for 7 minutes while every customer behind me gets their order. I finally honked my horn. Blonde appears and sarcastically says. Is there a problem?”. I ask why I am sitting here and customers behind me are receiving their orders. “The line is here.” Blonde does not have a name tag. I ask her name. She gives me a fake name “Virginia just like the state.” She performs her theatrical performance laughing at herself. Then she leaves. Then Kayla comes out with the food. Kayla won’t give me Blondie’s name. Kayla is not a high school employee. I tell her I am reporting both of you. Kayla, “ I didn’t do anything wrong.”. I attempt to contact the manager of this site. I get phone calls and emails wanting to give me free food. Mr. Costelle Walker, started the training program at Chick- fil-A back in the late 1980s He was part of senior management. Mr. Walker was a retired colonel in the US Army and his best friend was Colin Powell. Mr. Walker is deceased. I know he would be firing the manager of the Hugh Howell site. I travel the state of Georgia and this site is the absolute worst on customer service, food, lack...
Read moreFirst of all, mobile drive-thru is supposed to be a technological ingenuity but it is a disaster at this location. Don't even bother going into the mobile drive-thru line thinking it is faster. It is much slower than the regular drive-thru because the regular drive-thru is closer to the window and apparently is more of a priority. Also, if you are in the mobile drive-thru line with more than one car and you get your food (by some miracle) first before the person in front of you, you have to wait until they get their food because you are stuck behind them unless you are able to maneuver your car around the brick pillars.
Second, the customer service can be better. I always do a Pick-Up order and whenever I go in, it either takes a long time, items are missing or forgotten, and worse of all, sometimes they just leave the mobile orders on the counter (usually have to wait for someone to put them on the mobile order rack) and it stays there for a while. I literally watched as a person bagged a mobile order, put it on the counter without saying the name or even moving it to the rack, they just left it on the counter. I had to reach over and grab my bag because no one would read it.
I miss the old location. Sure, the old location is tight and the parking situation can be difficult so the new location was supposed to be an upgrade with the mobile-order, modern look, and more parking spots, but honestly, it downgraded. Food is good, but the customer service and the attention to detail...
Read moreEvery time I go to this location there is an issue. I promised myself I would never go again. But what did I do? I went but thought all the problems I've had was in the mobile order area. So I decided to get in line this time. There were 2 cars in front of me and no cars in the other line. The guy from the other line came and took my order and the person in front me order. I'm not sure what the problem was with the 1st car but the young lady working had to go back inside 2 times for something. It was more than 10 mins before the 1st car moved. And 7 mins before I received my food. I'm not certain why 1. A manager didn't come out to help with whatever the issue was? 2. They didn't pull the car to the side out of the way so we could get our food? They literally came from the drive through area and walked the food to my car as we were finally pulling around. My food was lukewarm when I finally received it. It was so frustrating. I didn't have time to go in to speak with a manager. But it doesn't appear any management was concerned. Someone had to realize that 2 orders were taken and paid but we didn't come around for the food. There were several cars that came and went in the other line. It was crazy and confirmed for me that I should have gone with what i already knew... don't go to this location *Hugh Howell!! Im not sending a message through the app because they give a coupon for a cookie and then do nothing about...
