Bakehouse Bread Company — Restaurant in Tucson

So I just thought to share some truth today. I was at fry’s and seen the bakehouse bread in stock, I sit and think to myself how companies work, not just here. I use to work for this company and it’s a diverse company, I love that part but when it comes to management it’s saddening. I worked under the supervision of Rusty and he was such a nice and great person to the people he thinks (I assume) matter. Like the higher up’s, but so many times over hearing him calling my former colleagues at the time some terrible racist things and even sadder they had a language barrier and he took advantage of that. Then myself as a gay man had over heard him saying homophobic things and I felt like I was always walking on egg shells. The days I decided to speak up, no support from the higher ups such as Margaret or even people higher than her. The day he fired me he had used the excuse that i was late at a time of new schedule changes and made a big scene yelling in the break room and I felt very called to defend myself. I hope the people who are still there do not experience this still, many have stood quiet because they either are afraid of losing their jobs or don’t feel there is a way to speak up do to higher ups reactions or no reactions other than to punish you for speaking up. Bought a loaf of “wild maine blueberry bread” from Bakehouse Bread company….. was going to give it as a gift, but last minute, wasn’t able to… so… I was equally as excited to try it as maine blueberries are my favorite….. I’ve never been so disappointed in a bakery item as I was with this bread….. I cut a quarter of it off to serve to my neighbor, and LITERALLY…. There were two (2) tiny blueberries in a quarter of the loaf….. I cut another huge piece and there were 3……after I apologized, and explained it was a “bought” bread….. we dissected it and counted the blueberries… 99% bread…..in a 1 pound loaf…. We counted 11 tiny maine blueberries…😞😡.

I didn’t buy it for the “plain bread”….I bought it BECAUSE of the MAINE BLUEBERRIES!

..Hell, I put more than that in just ONE of my MUFFINS!

I went yesterday under the rain to Walmart and I found this little apple bread in especial and I was curious because the smell it came out from the little package it was tremendous it was half price from the original I never taste it before and I decided to give it a try, and now I can say that it worth to go under the rain even if I couldn't buy anything else, because this beautiful apple bread is worth every single penny and much more I try by itself and also I put some Nutella and the Nutella which is so wonderful itself never steal the beauty of the taste of this little apple bread, I give you wherever make the recipe from this little apple bread all credit and to the company, glory to God he is an amazing God to bless you and protect all of you from the distance a good friend...
