Very beautiful place. Everything is up to date & modern. Our waitress, didn’t get her name, but she was petite & extremely kind. She was very quick with her customer service. The food was so good, so flavorful and perfect! I’m only giving 2 stars because, long story, my husband ordered the beef meat pie (which he specifically said beef & waitress agreed). The menu stated meat pie only. It didn’t state what kind of meat so that’s why my husband said beef please. When the pie was brought back, my husband noticed there was pork not beef. My husband does not eat pork. We told the waitress & she went back & told the chef/other waitress. Our waitress came back & said sorry we cannot take the pie back & that we have to eat it. We told her repeatedly that my husband does not eat or want pork of anything so we cannot and will not eat it. She said please take it or give it to family members or else she will feel bad for the other waitress (I’m not sure why she would feel bad for her). I told her that we cannot take it & that we will not pay for it because it’s not what we ordered. So she tells the other waitress & the other waitress comes over already upset. She asks what’s the problem, very rudely, & we explained the situation to her. She then told me that every customer knows what a meat pie is & what meat is in it. I told her that we are not every customer so we do not know. She said she could give us half the price discount but not the full. I told her that we are definitely not paying for something we didn’t touch, eat or want & to bring the manager. She said her manager was not here this day. I told her then where do we go from here because either way, we are not guna pay for the pie. She slammed the menu on the table, walked away & started yelling at our waitress in their language in front of all the other customers. The rude waitress came back & gave us the receipt saying here you go I paid it for you that’s why the price is not on the receipt & walked away. I honestly have never ever been treated so horribly by a staff member! I will never return...
Read moreCame in on a whim since I was actually headed to the Goodwill nearby. I was hungry and stopped here beforehand. It wasn't busy when I arrived on a Saturday afternoon. I got noticed and seated immediately at a booth. I was given a menu, and after a couple of minutes, I was asked by server Andy if I would like some hot tea while I waited. I thought it was a wonderful gesture considering this sudden draft that's come over this town this weekend. After I was brought my tea, Andy told me to give it a couple of minutes to develop more flavor and asked if I would like him to come back in that time to take my order. I forgot to ask what kind of tea it was, but it was definitely a fresh loose leaf tea. I may be wrong, but I believe it was green tea. Great flavor! I ordered some crab puffs, Shrimp Lo Mein, and Guo Bao Pork. Everything came out rather quickly and was very hot and fresh. The portions were very generous as well. The quality was top notch! Andy was very attentive and friendly. Near the end of my meal, he stopped by to check on me and to see if everything was to my satisfaction. We spoke for a bit. It's always a heartwarming experience to see someone doing something they are great at and enjoy. Amazing customer service! I will definitely be back, and I look forward to trying some of the...
Read moreThe owners and wait staff are incredibly rude. If you come in a group, prepare to be treated like a second-class citizen and a major inconvenience. They stuck my group in the far corner at the smallest table that would accommodate us, and setting how the restaurant was empty, we asked to be reseated at a more appropriate table. They argued with us for a good three minutes saying that they didn't want us to take up their table "in case a bigger group comes in." (We were their biggest group all lunch service.) From there on, the discrimination continued. We didn't get drinks until 10 minutes after we had safe down even after we asked three times because they "had to make the tea" even though all the other patrons had drinks. All the other patrons were served first, even the three other groups that came in after we ordered. After we finally got served, they never stopped by to see how things were going or refill drinks. The cherry on top of it all was their mandatory 18% tip for their incredibly rude service. I guess they wanted to squeeze every last cent out of us knowing that none of us are ever going back to be treated...
