While the food and service here is consistent with the chain's requirements, the employees are treated with more disrespect than any individual deserves. High school students are harassed by bosses at several levels via email, and all the employees have come to fear the owner. The current store manager enjoys crushing hopes and purposefully insulting the lifestyle of most of the workers. During my time there, she fired an employee for being "weird." Any integrity this store can possibly have has been lost when the few loyal employees left stopped being scheduled because the owner/manager did not have the courtesy to inform their workers to look for another job; rather just linger them on until they "got the hint" months later. Since I left nearly one year ago, I have heard nothing but horror stories from my previous co-workers and friends. I refuse to give this store any business, and highly recommend Frost one block east or Dairy Queen a few...

Cold stone is great, but the location on tanque verde has horrible customer service. If you want a waffle cone, you need to specify you want an actual cone. Otherwise, they'll just give you a waffle bowl. I asked about the waffle cone I had ordered and one girl said they didn't have any anymore, but then another girl came out and said that if I had ordered a larger size they could've sold me a waffle cone... I suggested that for future they should announce what is available or ask about a larger size, etc, instead of simply guessing what they think the customer would like. They stared at me blankly so I'm guessing they didn't understand that concept. Buyer beware! The waffle bowl falls apart as you eat, resulting in cone falling and ice cream pouring out the top onto the table....

Very disappointed. When you sign up for the app you're supposed to get a BOGO coupon and then a free ice cream on your birthday. I got the BOGO coupon in my app but when I went to use it less than a week later it was gone and replaced by a $5 off cake offer. They're teeny tiny cakes are almost $50 so $5 off isn't much. And as for the free ice cream instead I got $5 off. Their ice creams are nearly $10 so I didn't even get a free one. I ended up walking out because I'm disappointed. They shouldn't even bother advertising this stuff if they're not going...
