Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Tucson

I came in with my girlfriend for a date night treat and left quite dissapointed with the staff's food safety training. I was shocked to see the shift lead on duty move the trash can with his bare hand and then immediately make our treats without washing his hands first. While I can overlook small things, this was astonishing to witness. He then proceeded to try and hand the treats to us as if nothing was wrong. I immediately said something about witnessing this lack of food safety and the shift lead did offer to remake the items after washing his hands; but I fear this trend will continue with no correction.

There was another noteworthy item in regard to ice cream cones, which had no dollop definition or curl whatsoever. Being a previous manager at a dairy queen in town, I know that cones are essential to new hire training, and it was dissapointing to see what customers were receiving.

It should be noted that the overall treats were fine, besides a bit of over blending, but I expect more from dairy queen, especially a relatively newer location.

Owners, please train your staff better, especially shift leaders, who should be the example for...

That was the worst experience of my entire life. The kid taking the order swapped the flavors of ice cream (which is not his fault and i was not upset) and a women handed me a vanilla cone that was supposed to be chocolate dipped in cherry. She scoffed at me and gave me a disgusted look and she was so rude and had the kid tell me “you owe $0.90 now”. I counted out the change and this is what they handed me. Like cmon, i couldnt help but laugh. Then they made our m&m blizzard that was supposed to be vanilla with chocolate. We pulled around and went inside and let the very kind kid at the register know and he re made it for us. Then when we were leaving that mean horrible lady started screaming at the kid who...

It was a pretty busy night 830pm, drive thru was full so I went inside. Waited about 10 minutes maybe. I got a mint cookie dough and added mnms.. came out to 7.79 I gave him a ten and tipped the remaining change.

When it was ready he said cookie dough and mnm, oh well they forgot the mint, they were slammed no biggie. I get home right now and there's zero mnms in it either. 😔😔

Usually this location is on top of their game and I have NEVER had any issues. But missing 2 out of the 3 ingredients? Come on. Bummer...
