First we were greeted by a young lady by the name of Kassandra. I just want to point out that her service was excellent! I had the sopes. Two chicken and one beef just so I could taste both. It came served with a consome. To be honest both were amazing and brought back memories of my youth. The taste comes from many generations of grandmothers. Simple reshfreshing and elegant. My wife had the menudo. It was served with all the fixings and chiltepin chile's and grinder on the side. The flavor was also one you don't see in any restaurant today. It's the flavor of mom's love and taking your time to cook it until it is perfect. My daughter had a Torta it came with carne asada, ham, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce with mayo on a toasted telera. Even that as simple as it is came out looking like a much more expensive entree. The restaurant was extremely clean and modern. They have a full bar as well with drink specials everyday. They also make a fresh Horchata and Lemonade made by you guessed it Kassandra. The Horchata was delicious and refreshing. We will definitely be back. I cant say enough good things...

Overpriced on seafood. Birria 7.95 small bowl, large is 9.95. 15. 95 for camarones dish. Mariscos Chihuahua has more options. Read moreSo start by saying I'd heard about this place (and the "seafood tower") - we didn't order the tower tho, maybe another time.
We settled on the ostianos preparados (specialty oysters), I ordered the Pollo tacos Dorado, my bro had the beef gorditas.
The oysters were the stars of the meal - uncooked shrimp, scallops, red onions, salsa, avocado- all on TOP of the fresh oysters! Yummy!! A mouthful and super flavorful.
We split the chicken tacos and gorditas - both were fresh, flavorful, well presented. Hindsight- we ordered MORE than we needed to here. According to my brother, that can be common at this place.
Conclusion - great little place in South Tucson.. Oh, almost forgot - we came on a Friday night. I'm not sure about other nights, but there was a constant stream of folks coming in who were selling various things, usually homemade items. First flowers, then guys selling homemade tortillas and (I think) Mexican candies. Not just a meal, it was an experience! Just what we CRAVE...
