I work at the VA hospital right across the street from this location. Today we ordered 9 pizzas at a cost of nearly $100.00. Due to covid restrictions at the hospital, delivery drivers cannot enter the hospital. We made arrangements to be called when the driver was outside. The driver did call, however; the person receiving the call was busy. As soon as time permitted, she called the store only to find out the driver had taken the pizzas back and cancelled the order. We only have a limited time and that is our problem, not Pizza Huts. The person on the phone was agitated and said it would "be awhile" before they could return. They did return with the same pizzas which by now were cold. While my coworker was on the phone, she could overhear an employee in the background saying "F them!" Today was Veteran's Day and we tried to have a little special deal for the crew that works so hard to keep the Veterans taken care of here at the hospital. While we are a challenge to deal with due to the entrance restrictions, this situation could have been handled in a more professional manner. The pizzas could have been left at the desk by the entrance. I wont personally ever deal with this location, and most of our crew will not either. If Veterans, employees who serve veterans, and other hospital staff cannot receive any respect from this location, we wish them well. Read moreAwhile back I ordered from Pizza Hut and the pizzas came out burnt. James was the gm and he was really great treated me well. He just forgot to mention that the credit is only to his store. So I called into this store asking if I ordered from this store with my credit on the phone number of mine I would be ok. He said yes (Derek the general manager at this location) but I just needed to call back in to let them know I did have credits on this number. so I went ahead and ordered to call back in and be told I couldn’t order from this store. I got hung up on by an older woman twice, and Derek I had to call him back 4 times to just even get corporates number to complain. I never had an issue before, but as a general manager you just be more professional. He should have let me explain why I needed this location to order, and the other wasn’t going to work. He didn’t say or offer anything to help besides for being extremely rude and immature on the phone call with me. Read moreMy experience was at 9pm on 5/18/20. Pizza was great(this time). It's the unprofessionalism of the employees which is alarming. Did not feel welcome at all. Delivery person stared at me as he walked out to his car. Rude! I watched as another delivery person walked into the lobby and had a 10 minute conversation with the manager and another employee. I ordered contactless so had to call the store. Manager picks up the phone and acts clueless. He brought the pizza out to me and I pointed out several areas where his store could improve(including being more focused on customer service). He had a smug look on his face the entire time and didn't feel the need to address my concerns. He has 0 customer relations skills(kind of makes you wonder how he got to be manager). The app is so buggy it constantly crashes. 2 out of the last 3 times I've ordered from this location the taste of the food was subpar.
