Ask to sit in Joel’s section. My food pallet is able to handle heat (spice) if it as flavor to the meal, but I’m not a fan of overly spicy & that makes the flavor of the protein.
The appetizers we got were chicharron. They were thick pieces crunchy on the outside & chewy on the inside. The chips were very delicious, thick & crunchy like they were made in-house. When we arrived i asked my wife where the salsa was, here they custom make the salsa table side. We were unsure of the heat so we went mild. Next time i would say ease up on the cilantro, that was the only flavor i could taste. We ended up asking for some spicy chili to add, i was thinking it would be a paste, here it was just chili flakes. It took the heat up just a tad, but at lease We know for next time to say make it spicy. The kids meal was plenty for my son. My wife ordered the combination plate, the tres banditos. The chicken verde was sweet & a tad bland, no enchilada flavor stood out. The mole was also sweet & the red chili was the only one good as that was the one that was not left on the plate. The rice was light & fluffy the flavor was bland. By that i mean the onion & garlic flavors were not present & it didn’t look like the rice was browned. The beans were creamy. I got the Chili Colorado. The beef cutlets were very tender, but the Colorado chili flavor was very bland & no heat what so ever. The heat is what gives it flavor in my opinion, & that is why I’m giving 3-stars. They have a burrito option, i should have gotten that & saved some money.
Every booth we observed had an outlet available. Nice to have especially if you need to charge a phone or tablet. Atmosphere was very nice & the decor on the walls matched the theme of the restaurant. Spicy food level - 1 the images i saw on the reviews & the rating, i expected to have flavor & spice.
Next time i’m visiting… i will definitely get seafood. & will definitely ask to sit in...

I stopped in to Guadalajara's Grill and Tequila bar, not knowing our expecting what I was about to get myself into.
To start, they have the most amazing Mexican food menu I've ever seen!
Where I'm from, it is hard to find a place that has molcajete. Here, they have 6 different options.
Here's a short list of the menu: Molcajete, chicken mole, fajitas, birria tacos, and just about anything you can think of. It was the most difficult time I've ever had choosing what I wanted to eat for dinner. I ended up getting the chicken mole. It was delicious and authentic! If you try this, make sure you like your mole on the sweeter side.
Be prepared to spend a little money here, though. The entree items range from $18 - $100.
Top 10 salsas I've ever had! They even give away their secret recipe right in front of you because it's made table side. Don't forget to bring $5-$10 in cash to tip your salsa maker.
You can get deals on happy hour from Monday through Friday 3pm to 6pm. Take advantage if you can. They have great drink and appetizer specials.
Service was great!
Atmosphere was great!

Read moreWe really wanted to like this location and we know that it’s new, however our visit unfortunately missed the mark in several ways.
Tableside salsa and guacamole were good, but needed more salt. We asked our waiter for salt, however it never came.
One of our party members ordered a frozen strawberry margarita and it was seriously lacking in strawberry flavor, nonetheless booze. It honestly tasted quite watered down. When we brought this up to our server, he laughed and then walked away.
Carne asada tacos were unfortunately dry and lacked seasoning. I’ve had better street tacos at Disneyland. On the plus side, the rice and beans were pretty good.
The restaurant was rather empty when we came in, and the service was unfortunately lacking. No refills, salt brought when asked, and the weird margarita response.
Our total bill came out to almost 70.00 and we are known to shell out for good food, however it was unfortunately not worth the price and we will most likely not be coming back.
We have had good experiences at other locations around town, so not sure if this is just growing pains, or if more staff training is needed but we hope for...
