KG's Westside Cafe — Restaurant in Tucson

My official review for KG’s Westside Cafe : So far starts I am very adamant about service and presentation as well as performance. I was in before my work shift and wanted to try a local spot and test the waters. KG was a good spot on the way towards my work in terms of convenience. Not having high expectations to begin with I came for a good standard breakfast. My first impression was curious, so for starters I ordered a coffee. As I looked at the menu it has a good variety of options, but I came for a good set of eggs and bacon. Which is what I ordered along with some toast and their house fries. Right after I received my food an older gentleman sat parallel to me and I exchanged a few words with him. What caught my attention most of all was that they recognized the man and knew his name as he must have been a regular there. Like any good place to eat if they get to know you and your likes that gives you a good warm feeling and the willingness to want to return again as it makes you feel like you belong when you go to eat there. Super plus points it made me give a lot of respect and appreciation for this establishment. Well apart from that the food was delicious and very fresh as well as the coffee was superb. This place not only has great food but the price is what made it all the worth while I honestly expected to pay a lot more than I did and it left me feeling amazing. In my end opinion this is a must go to type of place for good food and service. I highly recommend and will definitely return when I have some time again. Was super excited, been searching for a local mom and pop diner to frequent. Sadly was not impressed by this one.

Atmosphere gives classic breakfast joint vibes. Tons and tons of old people drink ing black coffee out of basic mugs. Super busy ( which had me thinking it had to be good)

Was seated and left with enough time to read the menu 6 times and hear the DoorDash bell go off 12 times from the counter behind us.

Someone finally came around and got our drink and food order at the same time. Ordered 2 breakfast burritos. They were mediocre to say the least. Under cooked eggs and massive potatoes. Side of French fries were great!

Pricing was fair. If the food was enjoyable. We left with at least half the burritos in a box that’s still sitting in the fridge.

We found this Awesome little Restaurant by the coupons from the Entertainment Book, I'm so glad they had coupons in there otherwise I don't think we would have known it was there! The Food is Great and the prices are Reasonable! We went last Sunday, my Friend had a Delicious Cheeseburger with Fries and I Had a Grilled Chicken sandwich and Fries, the Food was Very Good, we could only eat about 1/2 of the Sandwiches and brought home the remaining food! When we go we always Try something Differen,! The Breakfast is very good, The Mexican food is Very good as well, everything we've eaten from there has been Amazing!! I live by DMAB and my Friend lives out by Midvale so it's a distance from both of us but the drive is Very Worth it!! The Waitresses and Waiters are Very Nice, they are very Welcoming...
