Our waitress was Juanita. I ordered the chilaquiles suizas but the so called red chili sauce tasted more like pizza sauce. I have had this dish before and before, the chili actually tasted like red chili but now it taste like pizza sauce. This place is very stingy with the napkins. We got one napkin that was wrapped around our utensils and then I asked the waitress for more napkins she just brought us one napkin more each...my daughter was eating mini chimichangas,.. mind you...with salsa and guacamole and sour cream, you need more than one napkin when eating something like that plus my chilaquiles are kind of messy as well. Once I was done eating my chilaquiles, I started eating my charro beans. I had half a glass of iced tea left when I was done eating my beans and I was wanting to finish my tea but the waitress came up again (she had already brought the bill) she came up again and said are you done yet, yes rushing us out of there. They weren't even busy, my daughter and I were the only ones there. Normally I tip 10.00-20.00 tip even more than the expected percentage of a tip. But she only got a 2.00 tip and I'm regretting even giving her that. This place is not Mexico City style anymore, well not as good as it used to be, even the service sucks now. The waitress we had just wanted us out of there. If you happen to get Juanita as your waitress, request somebody else. But actually I don't recommend this place at all maybe other stuff is good but I won't be back. 5/21/2024 4:25-5:30 p.m. P.S. I will also leave this...
Read moreI ordered the tortilla soup, which was quite good, so I gave it three stars. However, the service was inconsistent. I waited for some time before the waitress asked if I wanted a drink. When I requested water, she made a face and left. She eventually returned with the water, tortilla chips, and salsa. After about 15 minutes, she came back to take my order. When I asked for a bowl of soup, she suggested the cup instead, claiming it was similar in size to the chip bowl. I insisted on the bowl, which took about 20 minutes to arrive.
Throughout my meal, I noticed that other tables received better service. No one came to check if I needed a refill or anything else. Additionally, there was no air conditioning in the restaurant, and it was extremely hot inside, given the 99° weather outside. The place, which used to be lively and well-regarded, now seemed run-down with a broken sign and an abandoned appearance. I’m not sure if there’s new management, but it’s disappointing. The soup was unreasonably priced at $17, but without any extras like bread, you might be better off going to Mosaico Dos...

But I'm more from way eat of Tucson and we always go the my favorite La Parrilla Suiza in 22nd street. And love their food. From alk the restaurant that to me is more authentic on their flavorful food. But this time it was very disappointed specially when I ordered my favorite enchiladas de mole. And the mole didn't taste like mole it tasted like you blend shiles and no flavoring, I was so hungry I ate 1 1/2 of the 3 enchiladas but I got sick from it. Ate their frijoles and their frijoles kind of need it more cooking their were a little hard still. Unflavored rice and well I don't think I can go there again. To far to get more Tummy aches maybe next time I will have an accident before getting home. O well! In my opinion, if they have the same owner or same family they should have the same tasty food. We go there for the name of the restaurant and then we compare food flavors afterwards. Please comunicacion is...
