The WORST location I've been too and honestly that's saying a lot. We decided to give them another shot and today proved exactly why it's best you don't waste your time. The staff is all jokes and their ability to do bare minimum is questionable. We placed a mobile order , granted we gave it 5-10 minutes prior to leaving our home. When we get to the drive-thru we provide the code and were told to proceed fowaed5, this is when we should have know it would be an issue. The young girl at the window asks us what our order is. My husband gives the code once more and she's like "no I mean what's your full order ". We stared at her all shocked but give her our order, and are told to pull up to the second window our food would be brought to us. We then proceed to wait around 15 mintues and continue to notice everyone behind us is getting their meals and driving off. We then return the first window to ask were we forgotten or what's the hold up with our meal? The young lady then asks us again what our order is. We again then repeat the order and are told again to pull forward. Around 10 min later the shirt manger comes up to ask us to repeat the order, at this point we are getting upset and show him the order, to which tells us I just needed your additional request for the burgers, everything else is already ready. Wr give the information and think to ourselves shouldn't takeover than 5 minutes . We'll again another 15 minutes goes by , more cars are leaving and at this point my husband gets out of our vehicle and goes back to the first window, were AGAIN they forgot. The young lady then gets upset that his there and tells him "we'll im by myself here's your food". We check it and it's incorrect, we considered returning but by the time we did the round about for the drive-thru there were 2 other vehicles now waiting. We didn't want to wait almost another hour again.
Like staff at McDonald's we get you're probably understaffed but so is everyone else. This doesn't give you the write to be completely rude and disconnected from your job.
Mind you this was all over a 20 piece nugget/2 McDoubles/1 hot n...
Read moreGot the wrong order in dive thru - went back into store set the bag and reciept on the counter. Germo walked up and said 'Yes' me 'this is not the right order' germo 'what is the problem?' me ' this is not what they ordered' germo 'who ordered?' pointing to the bag and reciept again me 'this is not the correct order' Germo 'how can I help you?' never once does he look in the bag or at the reciept. me 'nevermind can I just gt my money back please' germo ' well english is not my first language ....' he continued on for about 45 sec on how english is not his first language. The employee next (little behind) to him was rolling his eyes and shaking his head. me ' I only said this was not the right order' Germo again gave me the lauguage explaination. I never did here any accent to know that he did not speak english. He took reciept and walked away, still never once opening the bag to see what the issue was. The crew member next to him said to me, he wants you to go over there. Never once heard Germo say anything. It had zero to do with language (as I speak other languages, also) it had to do with common sence / customer service as to what was said 'this is not the right order'. If he had looked in the bag and the reciept, gotten the correct food, things would have been great. Now, I personally would not ever go back there, to hard to get a big mac and order of frys. Good luck! There is zero excuse for a manager of a store, to be so complacent about what is happening in the store. Also to give the explaintion about lauguage was very off the mark. He understood everything I said from can I have my money back, yet could not hear correctly 3 times the simple sentence 'this is not the right order.' I never did say anythig else than stated...
Read moreI have been taking care of some personal things nearby for the last couple weeks so have eaten here quite a few times. It's usually clean. The food seems up to par by McD's standards. The deals through the app at McD's are legit although those are pretty much the same everywhere. Calories on a budget that taste good. Obviously not a place for the health conscious.
I want to single out one employee, and I believe (but am not sure) her name is Kayla. She is very nice, always working hard cleaning up or checking on customers. She's about the only employee that actually brings your order to your table when you order table service. The rest just yell your name from the little hole in the wall they serve food through. She asks if you need anything, offers to grab a refill for you, remembers your name, etc. I would strongly advise McD's to value employees like her and get her on management track if that's what she's interested in. It makes a big difference when your employees treat customers like customers and not a nuisance. With her work ethic and personableness she could probably make much more in a full service restaurant.
The other reason I did not give them 4 stars is they do not have anywhere to lock up your bike. With Tucson known as a biking friendly city (other than the insane drivers) and the Tucson Bike Loop passing nearby, that seems really crazy to me. Give us a little rack like most places do that we feel confident locking our bike to, please.
Anyway, it's McD's and does what McD's does. Watch The Founder if you haven't. Great movie starring Michael Keaton as Ray Kroc. Great insight into how it...
