Noodleholics — Restaurant in Tucson

VERY PLEASED.

First time visitor as a result of a Google search. The parking lot was clean and free of any noticeable issues. The building exterior is will maintained and free of any noticeable issues. Immediately warmly greeted and welcomed by the highly enthusiastic friendly staff. I visited the restrooms upon entry and found them to be exceptionally clean and well stocked. The menu options are enormously varied affording abundant opportunities to customize your choice in entrees. Ordering is straight forward at the counter. Lag time from placing the order to presentation of the food was minimal at best. My egg rolls were delivered to the table within a couple of minutes of sitting down. The main entree followed in quick similar fashion. I elected to partake with the house wonton, egg rolls and two cans of diet Coke. You'll place you order at the counter, Noodleholics doesn't offer a self serve soda bar and instead they only offer a stand alone very well stocked dedicated soda refrigerator. To the left or North of the main counter, the condiments bar is located under a large sign that reads "SELF SERVE". It features salt, pepper, sugar and soy sauce, napkins and extra utensils including chop sticks. My food arrived tableside hot, fresh and delicious. The egg rolls were substantial in size and filling. I added the hot mustard from the condiments bar to the house sauce that came with the egg rolls l and disappointingly found the outside temperature was probably hotter then the packet of hot mustard. It simply wasn't impressive or inspiring, falling well short of my expectations. The house wonton quickly arrived in an absolutely huge bowl. No matter your appetite, plan to either get some to go or be prepared to leave it at the table. Portion size at noodleholics is simply non-existent. I truly felt that the quality of the bowl ingredients were the star of today's visit. My bowl easily superceded my expectations. It contained shrimp, bbq pork, wontons and strips of white chicken meat, additionally it contained a plethora of fresh veggies in a hot and flavorful broth. I left completely stuffed and still left portions of the bowl tableside. Truly refreshing to find a place that can actually deliver top notch food to the table. Great ambience, wide selection and pleasing results in the food along with outstanding customer service. I can easily recommend a visit, well worth your time and money.

Having dined at Noodleholics a few times, I respectfully disagree with a previous reviewer who claimed the soup was only spicy. The Taiwan Beef Noodle Soup is a standout, featuring beef shank that is melt-in-your-mouth tender and bursting with flavor, perfectly balancing rich depth and spice. The noodles are exceptional—cooked to perfection and truly elevate the dish. While the dumplings differ from what I’m used to, they are undeniably delicious and well-crafted. Food was amazing! We ate so much and I took plenty home too. My only complaint is they were a little restrictive on the menu. They had a special addictional menu where you order from select items and that's the only way you could get dessert which was a "roulette" so you didn't get to choose which dessert and if you ordered from the main menu, no dessert.
