Cowpony Bar — Restaurant in Tucson

We went on a Thursday night for karaoke and had a blast. We're from out of town, and when we walked in, you could tell it's a small neighborhood dive bar where everyone knows each other, and we weren't sure. However, after being there a while and singing, most everyone was friendly to us. The KJ was amazing!! I can't remember her name unfortunately, but she was talky sweet and fun and the sound system was excellent and she knew how to adjust it to make you sound the best. She also had a cool system where you chose a song from an app on your phone and put your name in. I've never seen this but loved it!! Lots of songs to choose from, and it's more fair that way so you get right on the rotation. I got to song quite a few songs, and it was fun listening to others sing and sing along. The bartender was super sweet as well and made good drinks. We will definitely go back next time...

No food option, but can bring your own which is also awesome. Onto the bar itself….. I was referred to this place by a great friend of mine, whom also shares a passion for dive bars and this exact kind of atmosphere. Well I have to say that she was spot on. I went solo and was greeted in the parking lot by two women and instantly made friends before even stepping a foot inside the building. Once inside I felt like I was immediately friends with everyone. We all laughed and shared drunken stories about God only knows what. By the end of the night I rolled myself into an Uber and headed back to my hotel. Cheap drinks and great folk! I will absolutely visit Cowpony many many more...
