Ramiro's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Tucson

I really liked this place at first, yes the wait time is long, usually 10 minutes, sometimes longer, but the food was always fresh and the portions were filling. My coworkers and I would visit at least 3 times a week, but now, nobody ever wants to go. 1 coworker said the girl with the piercing in her nouth charged him $17.85 but his receipt said $16.45. Another coworker said she got old, dark, and greasy carne asada meat that looked like leftovers from 2 days prior. There are several others that say the portions have gotten noticeably smaller. I have noticed this too, the Carne asada tacos are obviously smaller than they were a month ago, but more expensive since they raised their prices. I remember the first time I tried the rolled tacos Carne asada, it was heavy and very filling. Now they are very skimpy and quite disappointing. Today the Carne asada tacos I ordered had old, dark pieces of meat in almost every bite, tacos were very small , usually you can make another taco with the extra tortillas but not this time, I just burped and could taste old meat like it was bad but cooked it anyway. Quality and quantity has definitely gone downhill at this place. This will be my last visit, they are obviously growing...

Let's start off. THIS PLACE IS GREAT! I HIIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! Have you tried the salsas? My favorite one is the spiciest and man, is it great! 😍 Fear not, if you cannot handle spicy or too spicy, the green salsa is equally tasty! I order mainly from UberEats and every time they get my order right and it's so good and continent. In the app, you cannot order drinks but I'm sure I will visit in person soon and get something tasty. My mom ordered 5 taquitos. They were so good and crunchy and had a lot of works that came with it. I ordered the super nachos. I've been eating here weekly for over a year. They've always made good food, but the drive thru wait is exhausting. Recently, I visited for the last time. I typically order the exact same menu items plus a large soda from the same guy taking my order every time. My visit before my last, I was given a medium drink instead of the large I ordered. My thought was, no big deal...maybe they're out of large cups. My next visit the following week, I ordered my usual with a large drink. I watched the car ahead of me get handed two large drinks with their order. I thought, yay! they have large cups. After I paid and was handed my order, I was given a medium drink again while being charged $2.75 for a large. Not cool, dude.
