absolutely my favorite place in Tucson. If you are a tea enjoyer or just somebody who doesn't like coffee and feels left out of all those fancy Starbucks drinks COME HERE!!! They have creamy options, fruity options, hot and cold. Their matcha is good, some of my fav in Tucson, and their Iced London Fog is my FAV. Staff are always laid back and polite. They do milk substitutions for I think no extra charge (if it is extra it's very small). compared to most places who are charging an extra DOLLAR for oat milk! Their seasonal drinks are always great.
Vibe inside is always nice but they do get crowded. It's never loud, lots of people working and studying. You never feel rushed to leave. First refill is a dollar and second one is free!
Main downside is their food offerings but it's not really a cafe. Just don't expect to grab a breakfast thing unless you want a pastry or some usually unfortunately dried out onigiri. Always wish they had just one or two savory pastry options but it's outsourced so what can you do.
Love love love this place. And their bagged teas are great too, LOVE the cold brew London Fog. Seriously can't recommend this place enough if you love tea or just fun sweet drinks that aren't coffee or boba.
I've visited the east side location more but since moving this one's been my go-to. The shared porch with Decibel is BEAUTIFUL and is completely blocked from the sounds of Broadway. It's perfect for a group, if anyone prefers coffee that's not mixed into a dirty chai they can grab something from Decibel too. Overall smaller seating indoors than east side but their outdoor situation is much nicer, probably my favorite of their locations. If you're a Scented Leaf fan already I recommend checking this location out, especially at lunchtime since Rocco's is right there too! Such a cute little strip of businesses. And much better parking situation than east side. I miss east side but this location is a worthy...
Read moreIt was my first time to any Scented Leaf shop, and my visit to the Broadway location was fantastic in every way!
Though a little difficult to find (signage to get back into the place could be better), as soon as I opened the door. I was instantly relaxed and happy to be inside this lovely shop. As a disabled person, I had an issue with a non-handicapped vehicle parked in the handicap spot, and though I politely asked them to move, they were really horrible to me. The walk into the building area was a little tricky with my cane as there are some textural paving design differences in a couple of spots that meant I had to walk very carefully. So... I was a bit stressed when I finally got to the door, but once the aromas and vibe hit me, that stress instantly dissipated!
Incredibly friendly, smiling and lovely staff greeted me, and as I had no idea what I wanted, they were so helpful in offering a taste and explaining different teas. It was so hard to choose, but isn't that a good problem? I loved what I had, and the samples I tried. The decor and music are so relaxing, and the chill music makes it perfect. I am really looking forward to going back and bringing friends! DEFINITELY a ten star experience, so thanks, Scented Leaf!
Oh, there are delicious treats to indulge in, too, from my friend Sydney of Sydney's Sweet Shoppe! What are you waiting for? Go already! You'll be very glad...
Read moreScented Leaf is always my first stop when I’m in Tucson! They’ve got an amazing deal—your second tea is half off and the third is FREE—so I always treat myself to three cups. It’s the perfect way to try a few different blends, and my absolute favorite is the Coconut Lavender. It’s smooth, calming, and totally addictive.
The vibe inside is laid-back and welcoming, whether you're studying, meeting up with friends, or just relaxing. The teas are always flavorful, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and happy to make recommendations.
