Subway — Restaurant in Tucson

I used to love this location because they did a good job and always made my sandwiches just the way I wanted. I would go at least twice a week, as it is a very convenient lunch spot! However, after my last experience at this location I will never go back. When I walked in, there was no other customers (woo hoo, I can get in and out fast!) however, the girl behind the counter was too preoccupied with taking the temperatures of the ingredients with a little gun and scraping old dirty ingredients on the counter off onto the floor with the dirty gloves she was wearing to even bother to say hello. She said "hold on a sec". Several minutes later, when she finally acknowledged me, she left the same filthy gloves on and started to prepare my food. Appalled, I nicely asked her if she could please put CLEAN gloves on and make me a different sandwich. Apparently, this was an annoying request, because she proceeded to stare me down with an evil look as she sloppily threw ingredients onto the fresh bread. Her customer service was so disgusting that I turned and walked out the door. Congrats, you just lost a very loyal customer and I want everyone to know to avoid this store if you are not a fan of food born illnesses.... Efrain the manager is rude and abusive to customers and employees alike. I didn't walk out middle of shift. I ran!!! It was too much!!! He needs anger management and English courses but yells and blames and is rude to everyone when it really comes down to his own incompetence and inability to communicate and be amicable with people who don't come from his own background. He trains all his employees whom the majority of, is female, through intimidation. It's do it right or you'll piss me off and I will make you miserable. Threats also and then don't forget the constant reminder that minimum wage is now 11 dollars and hour! I'm sure the owner would be interested to know that Efrain is very rude to a lot of his customers. Efrain keeps saying a Subway store is like 800,000 dollars to buy, yet he keeps crapping on his bosses investment....

There was a young man in their his customer service skills was very poor, he was very rude,it appeared he had a problem with my skin color, I am a handicap 55yr old woman who paid my deuce in the work field for over 26yrs plus years.it would have been nice if he would have had more patients when it comes down to the older crowd, & made me feel like a human being trying to spend my money on some food.I give the Ajo &16th ST a half star plus he slopped my sub together ,an the sandwich was not that great😡they will never get my business AGAIN..
